hi there everyone. i have sent a letter to natwest ,the final one after having the other two ignored to tell them i will be taking action against them (which i have done before and they refunded me!) but this time someone has just rang me and said they have'nt received letters and if i don't pay up in full or make an arrangement someone from a debt collectors will come round my house. i told them i am taking legal action myself and i wouldnt be paying and then the person said that any claims being made against natwest are being put on hold and they will probably send me a letter saying this and that in the meantime i have to make arrangeents to pay up until january when they will know the results of their case. is this just a load of bo***cks to get me to pay up? and should i still go ahead with my intended action in the next few days? i dont want the bailiffs coming round my house and taking...well stealing my stuff! (which is actually my mums stuff cos i live with my parents.) please help me. thanks kerry.

hi there. i successfully claimed back over £1000 in bank charges from natwest last year although they didnt admit anything and said it was a good will gesture! (yeah right!) my problem is they have made over £270 more charges on my account since i claimed the £1000 back, which i have refused to pay. am i able to put in a claim even though i havent paid it, i mean to ask them to remove the charges? and if so has anyone been successful with this? please halp me if you can, they have sent a letter from a debt collector too now. i want them to get this cleared. once this is over i will close my account with them as they are a waste of time and have no interest in their customers, they are just greedy money grabbers! thanks. kerry

hi there everyone. im now ready to make my claim after being refused a refund by stuart higley twice, but since i wrote my letters i have since been charged a further £100 or so on my account. am i allowed to add these charges onto the £809 i mentioned id be claiming for in my letter or will i have to write to the bank again with a separate claim for these? im really getting fed up with being charged now. should i just close my account to stop the charges? i already have another account so i dont really need to use this one anymore anyway. let me know your thoughts. i really want my money back. im so fed up. thanks for reading kerry. hi there.im new to this. with the help of the forums i have started a claim of £809 to natwest for unfair charges for goin overdrawn etc. i sent the pre lim letter to which stuart higley replied (& it was'nt even his signature!) and he refused to give me a refund saying he believed the charges were fair and properly due on my account as its my own fault for going over drawn and those were the terms i agreed to when i opened my account. So i sent another letter telling him i was going to take legal action if i didnt get my money back and i thought it was unlawful cos he couldnt prove that the charges were'nt making a profit. Anyway he replied within 2 days saying "i regret that there is little that i can add constructively to my last letter and note your proposed course of action. i have alerted our lawyers & litigation department accordingly." what i want to know is do you think i will get my money back? im a little scared now. i dont want to end up going to court and spending money and come away with nothing. please give me some hope people! i want my money back! let me know what you think. thanks kerry.
