It says we will be calling on the 21st August between 8am and 9pm. I took this to mean a call to my property.

Please advise, I received a letter from this company called Cabot to say they are visiting me next Friday.I received a letter a month before from them asking me to contact them. I never did, I do have debts from some 9 years ago, Are they bailiffs? And what should I do? Thanks

Hi there, hope you may be able to advise me please. I have received 2 letters from Cabot, the 1st was around a month ago asking me to contact them the second 1 was yesterday saying they were going to be visiting me on the 21st of August between 8am and 9pm. I have made no contact with this company as yet. I have debts from 1998, I have made no payments to any of the credit companies since 1999\2000. I married in 2003 so have since changed my surname and have also moved 3times. The letters were addressed in my maiden name. Please help. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
