  1. So, do I do this is writing? or will a printout be good enough? (lazy I know.. hah)
  2. Ok, thanks. Erm, If i remember rightly, I think I paid an O2 bill, but something happened and I got charged. So I said to them that I will switch off the phone and not use it again.. asking them to cancel the contract. Obviously they have not cancelled it therefore I am in debt with them. I know I should of looked into it all,. but I was young at the time. To what I can remember this was in 2005? but i'm not 100% sure. Is there any other information you guys need?
  3. Hi guys and gals.. I'm hoping you can help me.. please. I recieved a letter from 'Red Debt Collection Service' today ( 12/08 ) which was sent ( 07/08 ) I had to be in contact with them today.. This is the letter I had.. Dear Me, Ref Number: -------- Original Creditor: O2 (UK)Ltd Balance Outstanding: £224.11 We would inform you that we have been appointed duty authorised collection agent for Lowell Portfollo l Ltd and have been instructed to recover the outstanding monies sue to out client. As you have failed to settle your outstanding balance or enter into a repayment plan (Which I was never asked about) our client has now instruced us to consider either: 1. Using the services of a licensed 'Home Visit Agent' to attend your home during a period to be notified to you to discuss your account or 2. Start legal proceedings with a view to gaining a County Court Judgement, which if awarded by the Court we would then apply to Court to enforce any judgement that may be granted by way of an Attachment of Earnings order or the use of Bailiffs to remove goods from your premises shoulf the debt remain unpaid. Before a decision is made as to the most suitable form of action (described above) regarding your outstanding debt we would like to give you the opportunity of contacting us and agreeing repayment. If we do not hear from you by 12/08/2009 and you persist with non payment out client may have no alternative than to use other recovery methods as described above, both could see your balance increase as any cost incurred may be added to your account. This debt is not going to go away and ignoring this problem could potentially sake your situation worse and we therefore strongly recommend you contact us NOW: -'Contact Phone Number'- Payments can be taken over the telephone by debit or credit card Yours sincerely (Signed) (Name) Collections Manager I know this is a long post, but please do read it through. I need help. I don't want them coming here. That is something I don't need in my life at this moment in time. Please could someone list all the options for me.. that would be of a massive help. Many thanks.
