Hi everyone, its been a while since ive been on, but ive had nothing to report...until now.... i received a letter from lowlifes saying that Lloyds couldnt furnish the details reqested due to the length of time. they have decided to close my account and cease all action unless Lloyds somehow finds the original agreement. £2970 gone Im over the Moon here guys, its such a relief to finally know that i dont have to be subjected to the crap that they dish out.   4. Well today was the last day that Lowell could furnish me with the details i requested, and what a surprise...not a jot. So do i have to send them anything to say "you fail big time" sod off? or do i do nothing at all? I need to get some closure on this now i think...

I really do hope, from the bottom of my heart that they are able survive the current financial issues that we face as a country, nay, Family at this moment in time. Thank you for your kind words and support, its funny how we all know that we have made mistakes along the way, and all we want to do is sort the problems out in the quickest way possible, without causing ourselves even more distress, but its B'stards like Lowlifes who are allowed to keep trading, keep putting pressure on poor unguided people, who get so desperate they contemplate ( and sometime commit) suicide, i honestly dont know how they sleep at night.   7. All i want is aletter from them stating that the account is closed, if they cant provide me with the details i have requested (and paid for...even if its a £1!), i consider the matter closed...i dont want them to "leave the door open ajar" just to be able to try the again in the future...

Hello again folks, righty its fast coming up to the 14th day after the dispute letter was sent and still i have not had a dicky bird from Lowells... was expecting to get a letter of some discription from them at theast asking for part payment, again nowt...so basically do i consider the case to be closed after this, and send something to Lowells to that effect?

  11. Ok a strange question that relates to all this... Ive just seen my credit report from Experian, and amongst other things the alleged debt with Lloyds/Lowell does not exist...nothing, zip, nada... i have had 2 credit searches from Lowell (both without my permisson) but Nothing to say i own money to either...could this rule in my favour?
  12. I would say that as you returned to the shop to actually pay, that would go in your favour, most criminals that come in to where i work dont come back to pay... And as for getting caught shoplifting when you were 13...it will have no effect on whatever happens now. Also, you wont go to prison for this.

If i may chip in, wether or not the Whatever happen was mis-sold, the customer receives a print out detailing everything he/she is covered for under the terms of the agreement, It really is up to the customer then to take some time to actually read what is written on the said sheet of A4, and the booklets the acompany it. i do admit that there are some staff members who sell WEH with the promise that it covers the customer against everything under the sun, Just to hit strike rate. Thats why i dont sell it...the manager is getting ****ed....ah well...

I do have one question, would Lloyds still have my details "in archive"? i thought that under the DPA they could only hold details on someone for 5 years once all dealings have ceased; In this case selling to debt to Lowells and relinquishing all rights to the outstanding balance? Am i right in saying that if they were really looking, they would have in fact found it by now? And what happens with the possible "wonderful offer" do i ignore it as they are looking for payment, and thus bringing the account into further dispute as they arent allowed to do that?
  17. Hi again everyone, and welcome to another installment that is the Lowell Vs Kirksson show... Received another letter today...as follows, word for word... So, they are "still looking" for the original credit agreement...is this the signed agreement??? and Payment in full??? Bare in mind that i sent this to them on day 14... so i am REALLY confused, who is in the right? where do i stand with these lowlifes? should i stop worrying and just pour myself (and everyone here) a stiff drink?

I have an update and am in need of further guidance... so the 12+2 days came and went, and so i sent Lowlifes the "cease and dessist letter" and 4 days later recived this from the cheeky swines... Now i dont know where the heck i stand now, they have exceeded the allotted 12+2 days, so dont they now have to close my account? As you can see im a little blown out of the water here! your comments would be greatly welcomed right now!
  20. It's 24.9% APR (Annual percentage rate). APR is an industry standardised method of calculating interest. Over 4 years (48 payments) 24.9% APR will work out as *approximately* half the price of the product again as interest The standard early settlement charge on this agreement (Easiplan as it is referred to instore) is two months worth of interest - as explained to me by the HFC advisor on the telephone when I paid off my own personal agreement. Not sure where the £300 has come from...?
  21. Well, the way i see it is if i dodnt receive anything in the post today, i will send the Failure to supply recorded mail tomorrow, let them choke on it. Why havent these swines been taken out of business yet? surely after all the laws they have broken, all the lives they have ruined they would be forced to shut the doors?
