to be honest i dont know if there was ppi on credit card to start with he has not been able to use it since 2008 and the limit was £500 its now at £657 he paid something every month up till the end of june 2011, at the moment he is being charged only interest on the card nothing else

hi all we have finally got our head out of the sand my partner was made redunant in may of this year , we asked to claim on ppi for loan only to find out that we couldnt claim as i worked and he didnt claim jsa he currently owes loan £9000 ish credit card 650 ish (not used since 2007) over draft £1000 but its now £1500 with their daily fee of £6 i dont know where to start to sort alll this out i work part time and we dont get a fortune to even pay all this any help would be very helpful:-)

i got three letters with different account no's but all the same l/a account number, as thet were for same address. he levied on one account number (not all 3)which was the lesser of the 3 accounts, i have now paid that account off checked with l/a and the amounts are correct apart from the visit fees and levy walking possesion fee. what im asking is if i dont get in touch with the bailiff can he break in my house with the council saying he can .as as far as im concerned i have discharged the order with the levy attached im just worried about the walking posseion as i signed it. goods on notice my phone (which was on the table) washing machine fridge freezer 300+ dvds 32inch tv wii console (childrens not mine) wii gams (childrens) 2 dvdplayers lg desktop computer microwave arrears to authroity 207.98 first visit 24.50 second visit 18.00 levy charge 29.00 walking possession 12.00 total amount now due 291.48

hi all again so it starts have been paying phoenix colletions for 12 months between 50 and 70 per week (yes per week) as i just wanted rid of my council tax debt they got a levy in june '11 had 3 accounts ,the bailiff came and did 1 levy on one off the liabilty orders partner loses job in may this year so they reduce to 20 per week as i still work (part time) for some reason in july one payment was missed and they sent me a pay it all now or we'll remove goods my question is the liabilty order that the levy was made on has now been paid how ever they walking possesions had all the liabilty orders amounts put together do they still have a right to enter property as council refuse to take the debt back, as in my eyes the dont have a levy anymore but possibly the walking possesion may stil stand have been paying council online 10 per week online many thanks for any info

hi all my partner was made redundant and we have several debts where do i start trying to sort them out , the debts as follows natwest over draft natwest loan 3 credit cards all with less than 500 an each 2 catalouges im starting to get worried i dont know where to start sorting them out i cant afford to pay them all what they want i still work but only part time, so cant really use the on benefit heres a pound a week thing any help would be appriciated

hi all cant find old thread . i have been paying pheonix bailiffs 70 per week as i wanted to get rid on council tax debt as soon as possibe because i was isck of it hanging over my head well as it has now turned out my partner loses his job on the 20th of this month , i rang bailiffs to tell them i cant afford to pay 70p/w as from then as i wil be the only one working and its ony part time, they said theres nothing the can do if i dont pay they will inforce the phoned council who told me theres nothing they can do either the same old once its with the baiiff theres nothing they can do does anyone have any advice on what i can do ?

thanks for your imput , its only a small company he is really just a manager, as there is a commitee of people that actually run the place, it is a club. i dont have a copy of them how ever they are avalible to veiw at work at any point

will pay balance in the morning got an 0300 number to phone automated payment line ,hopefully it will accept payment, is it the same rules as for council tax once the debt is paid then bailiff cant collect his fees if the debt was paid before they contacted me. by reading forkits post he says they are not allowed to charge you. why would the courts tell you that the bailiff could.

hi can anyone advise me please got a tv fine from magistrates court i was told to pay the remanding amount of £125 by friday 25 feb i said i would . Things happened beyond my control the man who processes the wages ended up in hospital on life support and didnt do payslips for wages i had £65 of the fine of which i paid the fine department said if i didnt pay the rest they would send it to a bailiff which would cost me 75 admin and 200 visit what i wwant to know is if i pay the outstanding £60 in the morning before a bailiff calls can he still charge me all this money

dont have the original laon paper work but do have the second one somewhere will have a look for it dont know when it will be as working loads until after crhistmas

will that stop them from sending it to bailiffs again cant be doing with the whole thing again

hi was wondering if anyone can help i missed septmbers payment of this year went in to office to see if it could be spread over the remaining months left to pay and was told no i had to pay the missing month and octobers payment together, i explained to the lady that i wa already paying £50 per week off my debt to bailiffs and partner was paying £50 a month off his to the council she said tough it will have to be paid. low and behold they took me to court on the 17th of november, just need some help on what the precedure is after. i haven't received a letter stating what happened how much cost there is ect ect my parters has been laid off the past 2 weeks because of whether. i have been trying to phone them as i cant get to the office to arrange payment can they refuse payment would it already have gone to bailiffs as i can pay £100 a week as from the 14th of jan by standing order as i now have a full time job which means it would be paid before april. amount outstanding is £546.00

wonder if anyone can help me we took a loan out in 2005 from natwest to which we paid ppi on when we took out another loan in 2008 we had 6000ish remaining on the first loan which they paid off with our new loan, it is my understanding that they add the ppi to the loan then charge you interest on all of the amount. Am i correct?.If that is the case we piad 2 years ppi for nothing on the first loan as 5 years worth was paid even tho the loan was paid off 2 years early. When we took out the new loan we got nearly £7000 paid in to account and £6000 ish to pay old loan off were told on phone that payments would be £290 a month but when paperwork came through it was £408 per month as they the added nearly £6500 of ppi to the new loan which will make us end up paying £24000 for a £13000 loan including interest. can we claim the 2 years back that they took with the fist loan. any help would be a ppreciated didnt know at the time you didnt have to take their ppi (silly me)

hi all hope u can help me again, sorry but i cant find old post any way got my c/tax sent back to council but not my partners i now pay £50 a week standing order to pay arrears my partners debt they refused to take back so the bailiffs were sent again, but we refused to talk to them in the hope it would be sent back to council to pay them directly. recevied letter date 20th july from bailiff saying we had 7days to pay ing full or they were sending bailiff round to remove goods they on 3rd aug got a commital letter from the council saying we now have 14 days to pay in full or they would start commital hearing for him the letter also states that if we can not afford to pay fill in means form included and send it tro them with offer of payment do we offer them exactly what we have spare, ie:just taking off bills not allowing for the childrens general needs as there isnt anywhere to put this on form and obviously they all need new unifroms this month or just what we think wont mean us missing other bills at the moment we are up to date with this years c/tax

also he has levied on her brothers car which was on the road outside the house
