I've read through it and the rules are easy enough to stick to, but I don't think the NHS forum is where I need to post as my complaint is actually aimed at the police although the NHS were involved. Hi, I have just joined and this site looks great, although I'm not sure really where to start. I want to make a complaint to the Independent Police Complaints Commission regarding an incident involving the NHS and the police. I am not sure which forum to post on (I did search for anything specific to police complaints and didn't see anything) and I'm also not sure how much detail I am allowed to post on a public board. Also, I'm not sure if I need legal advice before proceeding with a police complaint and I am not able to afford a solicitor (I thought it might be helpful to consult one or some kind of legal aid to see if I have a leg to stand on, as it were). Not sure if there's any way to talk with anyone privately on here.. I would be grateful for any advice. Thank you, Laura
