  1. I also have a loan with them. This is totally separate. I have won all my charges back and they have not once referred to the loan. Good Luck
  2. I followed the step by step guide and was offered £775 from HSBC (The total they owed me was £1092), I was asked to sign the letter of acceptance and they would credit my account. I did sign the letter but added a paragraph to it saying I was accepting this payment as the 1st interim payment against the total outstanding. The £775 was credited and did not hear from them about the remainder so I sent the letter before action again saying I was awaiting remainder of money owed. They have now sent me another letter offering £330 (which more or less adds up to the total they owed of £1092). I have

  4. I claimed £1092 from HSBC and was offered payment of £775 which I took. I now want to remind them about the remaining £317. Is there a letter I can use. Thanks Mike Smith

  6. This offer was made after the first letter (request for repayment of charges). I was just about to send my LBA (today in fact) but received the offer on Saturday (12th August). Mike
  7. I have received a reply from HSBC offering me £775.00 as full and final settlement. My total claim was £1092.20. There is a catch though!!!! In order to get this money credited to my account I have to sign the letter accepting this as full and final settment. What do I do? Mike
  8. I received all my statements within the 40 day period after sending my initial letter and I am just about to send the letter asking for my money back. I will keep you all posted. My claim is £1,100.

  10. Hi Everyone My name is Mike Smith (hehe!) But i bet you guessed that! I have a HSBC account and i cannot wait to start the process of getting my money back! I would appreciate any advice with reagrds to HSBC. I have already sent out my Data Protection Act letter from this sites many templates on 6 June 2006 and "result" I received a response (well two identical ones actually) and yesterday I actually received 3 out of the 6 years statements, hopefully I will receive the rest within the 40 day period. I will endeavour to keep everyone updated with my progress. Ch
