that may true but ace law told that me it takes up to a year to get all the paperwork in order to send out the first letter.

heard on the news last night lord M.is going to get his way,i wonder if he has a sky + box,( as this is for copying can he please tell me the differance between this and coping from p2p sites), if so, does he claim for it with our moeny,please note these thoughts are from me and no one else,i was always told this is a free country,will mabe not so much now,but i still have freedom of speech

just a thought ,i also was sent a letter a while back saying the same thing,but in the next lod i inclosed proof that they did recive it and it was signed for ,i am begining to wonder did they get any of are lod.

just looked at their web site and they say that the second lot will be selected next week.just a thought how do they select who they pick.if we are all so called guilty why do they need to pick and not send them all out in mass as they do with all their other letters:confused:

hi guys just posted lod as i said i would by reg post . i think it s now a case of calming down sticking to our guns, i didnt down load the song so im paying nought!!!!!!!!!!! YOU GUYS NEED TO JUST DO WHAT YOUR DOING TOO and keep telling us what is happening with you . no one on this forum has been told they are going to court yet,and look how many people are on it and how long its been going . Its definely a cat a mouse game and they rely on their scare tactaics to pay up. but they have yet to prove it was you who sat at the computer and did what they said. . By the way wife is now really pi..ed so should get interesting;) in their letter they say 7 days to pay or else,if we all got the same letter,how do they know we all got them,as it would seem they say that they did not receive any lod from us, even though using reg.letters have to be signed for and can be checked on line with the post office.

changed my mind, i am now sending 6 lod all reg post they will not get any money from me,i know this is the right thing to do,but it is still giving me sleepless nights.

have sent back my second lod back,telling them to phone the post office with the ref. no. i gave them and see how they can tell me i did not respond to them.have also informed them anymore letter will be passed on to the police.

hi,got my second letter today as well.same thing that they said that i did not responed to their first letter,the thing is i sent by registered post ,phoned the post office and they said it had been received and it had been signed for,and they will email me the proof,guess what acs law will get in the next post.

hi,but did you notice they said{ IF} the matter goes to court I think this says it all.do not pay.

sent letter 4 weeks still heard nothing .had a thought if acs law had our details last year and details are only reg this year 14 june acs law does this mean have they been breaking the law !!!!!!!!!will be asking ico to confirm this

just heard back from the ICO ACS LAW HAVE BEEN ON THEIR BOOKS FROM 14 MAY 2009,if they have any of our details before this, do they have a case to answer.

recived email from my isp ,sky, they tell me that about a year ago Davenport and lyons had informed them that some of their customers had been downloading .sky say all the did at this stage was to send out letters to these customers explaining what had happened,yet i recived no letter,from sky they say that D&L was bought over by acs law this year ,do not know if this is true,it was then and only when acs law got the court order did they give any details out.now the water starts to get muddy,if D&L made the snowballs and ACS law are now throwing them who is be blame, anyone heard anything like this.

looking at my letter ,they want 500.07 ,now i am new to all this but why do they want me to pay £7 for my ISP ADMINISTRATION COSTS.i am i worng in thinking they want money for the work somone else done.ie giving out my details.

about to send my first letter,i also emailed complanits to my ISP, all they could tell me was to phone ACS . my isp sky,where not to helpful,i asked them to send me proof of when my details where asked for and when they where sent,also made a complaint to the ico,will let you all know what follows.

have been doing reserch all night.this is what it all boils down to. this seems to be a second company to do this .thousands of people are getting the same letters so calm down . the same songs games etc keep coming up it seems to be a templete letter. the letter you received is technically legal so dont ignore it it seems if you do they try harder to take you to court so send a letter of denial within the 21 days. one question i would like to ask is who is chief master winegarden as the information i reserched tonight his name is the only one that keeps coming up when the court orders are giving out!!!!!!. keep writing in to help each other..take care

please help, someone must be well over their 21 days,can you tell us what happened,did they give you more time,have you heard from them again.
