  1. i brought an electric shaver from argos and was told i couldnt return the item unless it was faulty. i got the item home and unpackaged to to use but its got a european two pin plug instead the uk three pin plug, i looked on the packaging, in the catalogue etc and it doesnt say anywhere that it doesnt come with a standard plug, i took it back to the store for a refund and they said they wouldnt refund it for hygene reasons, its clearly not been used because i cant plug it in! i know the easiest thing to do would be just to buy an adaptor and keep the item, but i was just wondering where i stand on this do argos have the right to sell non standard uk items without informing customers first and do i have the right to a refund?
