  1. Glad you are ok SG x. I have to agree with previous posters, IMO this is the result of a generation growing up thinking the world owes them, they should have what they want when they want it, not have to earn or work for anything, and that there actions are not punished because to punish them would infrige their rights. **** are breeding left right and centre, not looking after their offspring and not teaching morals and right and wrong, and teachers police other people who should discipline if parents won't can't. This is the result of Political correctness gone mad (IMO). It's about time this government grew a backbone. I am so angry seeing all the devestation this morning, and all the scummy looters, some not much older than sperm cells. I am not affected but feel for all that are. Take care xxx
  2. I'm quite interisted by this thread, I came across it by chance and am quite glad that I did. For some stupid reason the council in the local towns have decided to erect gates at the enterence to each back street. Oh my word. The problems this has caused is rediculous. I predicted what would happen when they announced their plans. People are now treating the back street as an extention to their own yard, woth kids rubbish and dogs galore. Apart from the dog mess I'm worried about the dogs themselves. I love dogs but after being attacked I'm afraid of dogs I don't know. I opened my back gate the other day to put my bin out to be met with a growling pug type thing. Now I am not discriminitory with my fear, it could be anything timy or tall and I'd be petrified. I had to go and get my OH to go and put the bin out. I'm very concerned that these dogs will start to see the back street as their territory and anybody they don't recognise as a target/threat and cause an attack. It turns out this mut belongs to my next door neighbour who we have endless problems with (but that's another story). There was nobody on the backstreet with this dog when it was growling at me, it seems they are opening their gates and letting kids/muts run wild. Any advice peeps? I have read the leaflet above (thanks for that) and am considering reporting it to the council. I have spoke to others on the street opposite who are having the same problem with our shared back street.
  3. Agreed. I doubt they will but I am still hoping for it. Hoping for the nasty comments I've seen elsewhere to cease too. There's just no need for it. I feel for her poor family.
  4. That made me jump when it started moving. My, what a lot of buttons to accidently lean on
  5. What are you crying for Carrot? Do I have to go and bark at someone? I'll guard last post for now anyway so none of you have to worry
  6. I shall let you off this once. Just this once mind, because I'm so pleased to see you.

  8. Well it wasn't today it was last week but it sure as hell made me swear. I'm rubbish at wrapping gifts. If it's a box I'm an expert, if not, well the good news is you probably won't be able to tell what it is, the bad news is it won't look very pretty. My sis came round to swap pressies (I'm a twin) and although I got her pressie a while ago, I left it until she was on her way to wrap it. Big mistake. I got her a lovely top from her fave designer. As I was wrapping it I had to get rid of some excess paper that was getting in the way. The paper started to get a bit thick but I carried on regardless. Yes. I vandalised my own gift !!! When she walked in she dropped mine on the floor and broke it before I even had time to mention the accident so the universe is karmically balanced after all. Thankfully she saw the funny side. Oops.
  9. I would do as shelly181146 and give my 2nd sis, 2nd brother and 2nd mother the best care I could and my real parents too. So they would probably get about a tenner each.
  10. I'm a size 3, and have quite wide feet for the length. Buying trainers is no problem but when trying to find shoes that fit (especially heels) it's a nightmare
