  1. Thanks Al. I'll get through this no doubt I was pretty shocked when I read at the bottom of the ticket something along the lines of "we will be contacting the DVLA for your details."
  2. I'll wait to hear from them now. I usually pay parking tickets the next day to get it out the way but this one was annoying as I do actually have the permit. Im scared lol
  3. This is the ticket i got on the windscreen and then they sent a letter to my home address. i dont live there at the moment so my dad decided to ring me and tell me about the letter. i sent them a letter yesterday with a picture of the permit as well as a photocopy of the permit.
  4. It is a PCN. can this be contested or would it be easier to pay the fine?
  5. Hi Guys, I recently went to my Girlfriends flat and parked in her parking bay (number 89) without displaying a permit. The permit was in her car which was being serviced. Well i got a ticket slapped on there and was wondering if there was anything i could do about it. My girlfriend's flat mate drafted a letter for me which is below.... To whom this may concern I received a parking ticket in Bridge Court car park, Stanley Road, South Harrow, London, HA2 8FE on the 20th May 2009 at 18.33. I took my friend shopping and he said it was ok to park his car in his spot 89 as we would only be 10 – 15mins and the permit was in his flat. When I received the ticket I contacted your customer services the next day, (21st May 2009), and they advised me to appeal and send a copy of the permit to validate my parking. I have attached a copy of this permit for your record. Please could you advise me on the next step. i have photocopied the permit ready to send off to them. would this be enough? thanks in advance mitty
