  1. Many thanks for the reply. Can you tell me if there are any laws that protect you from this sort of behaviour ?
  2. If you are on long-term sick leave but are receiving no pay or any kind of benfits from the company, can they legally order you to turn up for meetings they have arranged without discussions with you and also threaten to or take disdiplinary action against you if you don`t turn up for the meetings?
  3. Can an employer legally dismiss a long term sick employee if the sickness was caused by the employers acts or failure to act ?

This is the first time I have written on this forum and hope someone can help me out in what seems a hopeless position.I am at a total loss on what to do next--any help or suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
