  1. No payments, no acknowledgment. Will do just that, thanks!
  2. Just the file scanned and statements. They should have supplied more?
  3. I'm sorry, i'm not sure what you mean. Thanks.
  4. It says "Credit agreement regulated by bla bla. 1974" The copy they sent is unreadable, at least the small print is, by it is my guess it is the T&C. It also says it above the signature, "Only sign if you want to be bound by the CCA 1974..." I sent it off a month ago, after 12+2 i sent the second standard letter, they replied to both saying they needed more time, then i got this a few days back. Thanks,
  5. Ive uploaded the agreement. The account is with Cabot, originally Barclaycard. The account is 6 years old from the default date on my credit file in a month or so. Thank you.
  6. So i CCA'd Cabot, they were late but sent a credit agreement. I'm no expert, but it looks good, original, signed, complete with the terms etc, all on the same page. I have two questions please all; Does it matter it was sent late? The debt is due to drop off my credit file in 2 months, should i just ignore this and then claim Statue Bared if it surfaces after said date? Thanks.
  7. Really? Simply by asking the DCA nicely? Any more info appriciated... Would you also have a suitable template letter to hand, would really be helping me out. Thank you for the hope.
  8. Oh I see, im still learning all the debt terminology... thanks. Yes the DCA put it there and it is marked satisfied after i called all the CRA's and told them, they then chased it and confirmed. So it's not the done thing then... any point in trying?
  9. Hi, a Q I would like answered please... I have a CCJ that has been paid in full. If I call the DCA and ask nicely (beg), could they have it removed/set aside? Do they have the power to do it? I dont care about the money but the marker on my file is killer. Thanks.
  10. I thought that was one point of a set aside, to contest a CCJ that is over? I read you can apply anytime upto 6 years after the CCJ was originally issued? If the CCJ was obtained illegally, surely I have some comeback, the money is not important to me, the marker on my file is. Thank you.
  11. Hi all, looking for some more advice please... I got a CCJ from a DCA in Mar 2008. Out of fear and stupidity I started paying by instalments without doing any research. In Dec 2009 the DCA went in for the full amount and I feared that I would get screwed if i didn't pay so paid in full in Jan 2010. £5000 approx. I then found this forum and got reading and think i have a case to have my CCJ set aside for the following reasons... I have CCA'd the DCA and am awaiting confirmation, I am pretty sure they will not be able to satisfy the demand. If they mess around I will Subject acces

  13. Really, not even sub prime stuff like sim only phones and catalogues? I was paying it from day 0 in instalments via the court, then they decided they wanted the lot after 2 years so paid it in full, £5500 in Jan this year. I'm not looking to get great credit, just want to build up some green on my files so i can get a mortgage in a few years when im fully clean. I have the data on whom searches who, thanks for the heads up anyway.
