  1. Hi there, I am currently trying to resolve an issue with a debt for my partner. She is currently dealing with a number of debts from a previous partner who applied for several loans in her name and forged her signature. She went to small claims for these debts, but was told because he was registered as disabled and claiming benefits he was not considered as having an income or status that would make it possible for him to pay back the loans, so the pay back of these loans fell on my partner. Recently we have been contacted by AIC, who are mentioned on many posts on here. They are claiming that my partner had a 7.5k loan with Natwest, which needed immeadiate payment. My partner absoluteley denies any knowlege of applying for this particular loan. I am in the process of getting her credit report to check whether it is recorded and if there is a CCA document to see evidence of this agrement. Should it turn out that her partner has again forged her signature for this loan, which was applied for almost a year after she cut off all ties with him, what can we do about it? I have this worry that he could just apply endlessley using her details as he knows her parents address, which is where the letters from AIC have been going. I would of thought that if he has applied for this loan he would of had to have paid the loan cheque into a bank, which would be in his name sureley and this would clearly indicate fraud wouldn't it? Can anyone advise.
