  1. I'm in prison for a crime, I did not comit My best friends real name is Ellis. I used to be a VP, of a bank, in Maine, new England
  2. Flexi pricing !! . Happening a lot, these days. And even worse is cookies on your PC, so some stores offer low prices, to attract you, then they change the next time you visit........... Viking Direct, are good at this. Problem with Hotdeals website, is it's very popular, and deals run out quickly. Some stores will limit numbers on an offer, especially if its added to Hotdeals, and other such sites. On the face of it. You agreed to pay the higher price over the phone. And your subsequent, sculldugery to find it again, is completely separate, and after the fact .......................... You hav'nt so much been had, as been drawn in and accepted a price, you were'nt happy with.
  3. Use your landline for 0845 numbers....... and google, say no to 0870, for an alternative standard code number to use on your mobile.
  4. As an ex Remploy executive ... this has been going on for years They want all employees in the private sector. Succesive governments, have completely pushed to one side, the reason for this business's exsistance.
  5. Shocking! The motivation for change, is to get, seperated/divorced couple to come to a private arrangement to save the state, cost. The extra cost, will be bourne, by the payer, not the recipient. So where is the encouragement, for the recipient, to come to a private agrrement. The payer will pay more, across all income bands. Alert!!: Benefit claimants, will now pay £10, instead of £5 ...... thats a huge increase, if your on benefits.
  6. To answer you initial question ....... "would my payments reduce, if the CSA knew she was claiming fraudulantly."? In a word .......... No!! You are liable to 15% of your salary, less incrimentals, for your childs welfare, and upbringing. However, as a good citizen, and income tax payer. you may wish to use one of those anon helplines the benefits people have for us! You ex's actions, reactions, and lifestyle . Have no baring, on your responsibility to pay .... unfortunatley!
  7. Appeal for what ?? And I did'nt ask you for personal info In fact I did'nt ask you for anything. I'd just like to see an example. So, What could the OP's partners ex, have grounds for an appeal ? I like to add to my knowledge bank
  8. Katie It's very very obvious, that you a remorseful, for what you have done. To post up with great honesty, and integrety, on a forum (even though it's anonymous) is a very hard thing to do. Because you read your own words. Not ending up with a police caution, is a result!! And having to explain yourself to the store, is a right and just punishment, but only in your case You have now done the time, for the crime, and I belive you have paid heavily. It's time to blow a huge sigh of relief, and move on. Promising never to let yourself, be that weak again. Good luck to you, and yours!!
  9. I'd like to see an example, becuase I can't think of one. If the OP's partner has paid the correct amount, and has been, for all of the claim. Then it's quite simple. If there's been an underpayment, or some skulldugery, on his part(e.g not declaring income) Then an appeal, can be maid. Although its not an appeal, but a supply of further information, to be investigated.
  10. They are always, fully booked, are'nt they ....... lol
  11. Unlkess the partner, has had, a 1 off bonus, earlier in the year. Or had a salary increase, between, annual assesment. Then, there's not a lot else, the ex partner can appeal on. In fact, I'd go as far as to say, it's none of her business. The op and her partner, can ask for a reassment, and the result, will be what the ex partner will recieve. Based on the fact, there's a new dependant.
  12. I can't think of one ..... under CSA-2 ..... it's cold hard calculations Which is, both good, and bad! The terrible thing, with CSA payments, wether we make em, or recieve em is the emoction, invovlement. It really helps, if you can detach yourself. And just accept the enevitable. But from experience...... always always always, check the figures. The CSA get their numbers wrong, all too often. In this particular case, the OP and her partner will be better off. But of course, the suppported child, will be worse off.
  13. No. in short!! In fact, if you move in together. Your son will be classed, as a dependant of your partner. And accordingly, his CSA contributions to his, daughter, will decrease, slightly.
  14. If the Company, can prove, that you are habitually, parking on private land, for the porposes of harresment and or entertainment. A good lawyer, may be able to convince a judge, to fall on their side. This would set a legal precident ..... something no one wants to see. All if , buts, and maybe's... a complete, long shot. But one that gets ever closer, everytime you pull your stunts.
  15. British Gas Homecare Now there's an oxymoron !
  16. As you are a pro-active, go get, type of guy. Can I suggest, to lose the negative, crap, your getting from JC+ How about pop into your bank, and ask for an overdraft?? You go back into the forces, in january. I guess you must have paperwork to prove this. Get some help from the bank, and [EDIT] the JC+ This advise would'nt help, most. But you are in fact, in a fortunate position. I know, your feeling pretty aggreived..... and why not! Just thought this would help improve, your sense, of wellbeing Glass half full, and all that.
  17. You asked for advise. I fail to understand, your response. Indeed, the tribunal, will decide. But understand, that if he has new dependants, the calculations change, downwards, I'm afraid. Let us know the outcome..... it aint over, till its over.
  18. Hold the bloody Phone !!!!!!!!!! 1st of all, I'm so sorry, to hear of your story. I'm sure you must be devastated. And I'm bloody amazed, you are thinking more of others, than yourself at this difficult time. Please excuse my plain speaking. I need to make a point here. So!, the debt dies with you, does it?????? Your child, will still be alive. Your child will still need support> I know he's 19 now. But you may have borrowed on the basis the outstanding would be repaid. And thats just one reason, in a hundred, for why the debt is a debt, is a debt, till paid .... for your son .......... not you !!!!!!! CSA payment, are for the contribution to dependants upbringing, by absent parents. Go see you MP .................... Now !!!!!!! (I'm spitting !!!)
  19. Back on topic! If in full time education . it's on their 19th birthday If they leave school at 16, and go in to employment, training, or apprenticship.... it's 16th birthday.
  20. Yes, If you live under the same roof and you contribute, towards her living needs (which you would as a couple) This would reduce you payment, as the youngster, even only 4 days a week, is a dependant. Ring the CSA, give them the details, and they will calculate, an adjustment.
  21. Any gross payment, will be used for Calculation purposes. For example, many companies who pay employees a milage allowance may have added an increased lump sum per month, to cover the rise in fuel costs The benificary would get your % payment of that, too.
  22. Taking all the emotion, and your poor views of this lady, out of it. He has refused a DNA, and has hidden from this issue for a long time, by your own admission. He needs to engage, with the CSA, and find out first, if he is the father of the child, via a DNA test Wether he's on the birth certificate or not, will make no difference. They won't go away, and he could lose any future credit score. Changing the deeds, to his partner, will not lose him his "marital home rights" And it won't stop the CSA issuing a CCJ against the property. The bottom line is, if he is the father.... He will have to pay. And that will be right back to when the claim was 1st made
  23. Your ex, could be a top city banker, on half a million, a year And her new BF could be Sir Richard Branson. You still have to pay 15%, for the 1st child, and so on etc.
  24. The calculations, are the calculations !! If his new partner has 4 kids, then his payment to you will be reduced. The only worthwhile appeal you have, is if the figures are wrong. And you should be able to work it out, based on wjhat you use to recieve. You can also use the CSA, online calculator, to help you. This is why, voluntary agreements are far more advantagous, for the benificary. Too late now, he'll pay less, because he has new dependants.
  25. Doing the leg work, and supplying the name of his employers will help, enourmously. The CSA, are currently, overworked, and understaffed (as far as a govt, dept is concerned, although not in the real world.) They will contact him via employers, if he ignores letters sent to his home addy. And they can also request P60 information direct from his employers. If he stalls, he will end up with a large back payment. Keep pressing the CSA......... but also have patience They will get him ........ they get to everyone, eventually!
