The tenancy on our flat is due to end on the 17th June. We would like to end one month earlier and have found the ideal place to move to. We can transfer the electric, water, and majority of other utilities over with us. We'd pay the rent for the last month aswell, and hand in the keys. But does anyone know what happens about council tax? Would we be liable for the council tax on both properties for that one month or not?
