Many thanks cosalt for replying. I have moved around a little & have had my name on some things ( applying for current accounts etc.). They have just recently caught up and sent a cuople of letters but i haven't replied. They haven't sent anything for about 6 weeks now. I have no contracts or anything now so havent a clue how much i owe now lol. I'm finding it difficult to even get a current account now hahahaaa. My wages are going to an old savings account. Its been a couple of years now since i have replied to anything. Any ideas. Thanks again Matt

Hi all, newbee here. I can never find a straight answer to this. I owe out around 12k all in to a few companies. Young and dum i guess. Tried paying back & failed. Tried consolodation - failed. So i've not heard anything from anyone regarding this debt in the last 2 years. What my question is, does the debt clear in six years, will my file be clear after this....After all its only 3-4k per company/bank so its not alot compared to some of the stories i'm reading on here. I knew someone who was in the same situation for a good few years & one day he noticed his file was completely free of any debt. Someone at the CRB also told me it wipes in 6 years.
