  3. Hi Guys, I am looking for some advice, my car was repossessed by Welcome Financial Services on 01/02/10 at which stage i handed over the keys and the car. Good riddance i thought end of the matter.... However, I have now received documentation from DVLA to say that I am due to appear in court because the Secretary of State for Transport has received information from a new keeper that they acquired the vehicle on 23/02/10. 4. Hi, I have this issue constantly with HSBC, I get paid by CHAPS on Friday afternoons around midday every week. However, if a DD or Cheque comes out the same day and takes me overdrawn, they bounce the payment even though I have cleared funds in the account on the same day. Yesterday, a cheque came out of our account a day earlier than we anticipated and took us £40 overdrawn, my wife went and paid cash into the account to cover this amount at 09:45 in the morning. This morning we check the account to find that they had bounced the cheque. Whilst I have managed to get them not to c
  5. Hi Guys, Finally had a response from HSBC and they turned down my request to reclaim my PPI. Although I was self employed at the time they said I would still be able to claim PPI if I wound up the company and signed on. Bearing in mind I am an IT Contractor with normal contracts of about 3 months at a time, this meant that every time I was in between contracts, I would have to wind up my company and then when a new contract cam along (could be 1 week, 6 weeks, 3 months), i would have to reset up my company and start again and continue this practice in order to be eligible to claim the P
  6. Hi Guys, can anyone advise what I do next, I sent the original letter to them on 26th March 2009 asking to reclaim my PPI as ever since taking the loan out I have been a self employed IT Contractor and not eligible to claim for unemployment. So far I have not even received an acknowledgement and I want to know what would be the next step for me to do. Thanks

  8. Hi, Just wondering if anyone can clarify something for me. When parking on a car park, should the sign indicating the prices to park also indicate the cost of the penalty charge that may be applicable should you no thave a valid ticket. If not then surely, this could be open to abuse by councils/parking attendants to over inflate charges.
  9. Hi thanks for the response, no we haven't requested thee CCA, are there any templates that we could follow to request it or how do we go about it? Thanks again Mike
  10. Hi guys, New to this site and looking for a bit of advice....... A few years ago I took out a HSBC Credit card in my name only and was given a Credit limit of £1500, this was the most that I could have. I was working at the time (still am, contracting in IT). At the same time my wife (who was not working and still is working as only a housewife) took out a HSBC Credit Card in her name only and was given a credit limit of £6000. Unfortunately circumstances meant that we have had to max out the wife's card (mine had to be given up when we renewed our personal loan with them and
