  1. Hello Everyone, I apologise for the late reply to this thread but I was waiting in the hope that I would be able to tell you all a completed tale but that's not the case yet. Earlier on this week Vodafone removed the default and the disputed debt which is fantastic, though there was no apology or goodwill gesture. I didn't expect one - we were just pleased to have it all sorted. However, there's some doubt as to whether the mortgage will go ahead now as we had three declines which are now on our Experian record, so it goes on... But I want to say how fantastic Lee from Vodafone
  2. Hi everyone, Lee- I have now sent you an email with copies of all the letters I sent. I hope we can now look at removing the default notice. Martin3030- Thanks for your interest. I will give you as much information as I can about the queries you raise. Arrears- I dind't owe them anything as I had cancelled the contract within the 3 months and 7 days under the Distance Selling Regualtions of 200 as thry sent me no details or the contract or how to cancel or return goods. They never gave me any cancellation or return information so the Distance Selling Regs give you
  4. Thanks guys, I can sleep now. They have sent me their evidence. How many photos! They took about ten in the dark but only one of the yellow lines. I have taken your advice and won't even be dignifying their lettler with a response. I will ignore them totally from now on. They can 'tittle' as my grandma would say. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again.
  5. Please help! I have had a Parking Charge Notice from a company called Vehicle Control Services Ltd on February 13th for £80 rising to £120 for non-payment. Basically I live in a circle of flats with an inner road. Part of the road has double yellow lines. There is an area where part of the lines had been relined and the other part (with broken lines and no T-bar line) had been left to wear away. So stupid me parked on it. As far as i knew this part was no longer part of the lines. I got a ticket at 7.02 am. Bugger... I wrote to them to appeal saying that the line was not legal. They r
