  1. Having booked a return flight to Paphos, I bought a few gift items to bring back with me & flyglobespan will not let me buy baggage allowance online as the drop down box where debit card start date only goes to 2008 meening i will have to pay full rate for my luggage to be put in the hold costing an extra 10 euros but for some reason they let me buy the flight with same card issued 2009 and also charging a 2.99% fee where it says in booking the flight the there is no charge on visa debit cards. mmmmmmm not amused.............Can someone please advise on this.
  2. Problem is that he is being charged in excess of £5.00 daily for the new key meter they installed over a month ago.He has all his heating turned off, leaves nothing on standby.Watches tv in the evening only & cooks once daily for less than an hour.It just seems rather a lot of money to use in a day for electric with the new installed key meter.
  3. Thankyou for your reply Buzby. Meter is in Scotland, & yes, they are charging my son because they never got access when they wanted, & that because they never got access, the rates of electric from card to key meter are more, they even sent him a letter to say, they would arrange for some agency to put his door in to gain access.
  4. Would someone please advise so that I can help my son out of a Scottish Power mess.Scottish power recently changed my sons pre payment meter from card to key, & because they could not get access to do this at a time when it suited them, they have put a charge on his meter & is currently costing him in excess of £5.00 per day.My son also has learning difficulties, on the Autistic spectrum & is becomming distressed with it all as when he calls up to speak to someone, they are not helpfull, & just say that what he is paying is correct. He also receives DLA as classed as disabled.

  6. Yes, that is correct, my son will be 16 in 2010.I rang my local council benefits advisor who has said I will have to claim the ESA on a ESA50 form. Yet I have read that you have to send back the form within 4 weeks, so why are they asking me to go to the JCP to make a claim for it.Seems they don't take into consideration anyone who is receiving DLA into the office to make their claim with nearly 2 full flights of stairs to climb into the bargain & no lift.Is such a struggle with day to day things anyway.
  7. Hello, I'm looking for some help here to get a better understanding of what happens next. I was called to a work focussed interview yesterday, I am a single parent with a 14 year old son, & currently in receipt of Income support on 2 counts. 1) I have a child of school age, 2) I am in receipt of DLA both at the higher rate. At my interview yesterday, I was informed that I had to apply for child tax credits for my son,to which I had to sign a form, they would not let me take the form away, saying it had to be fast tracked there & then, so I signed for that. Then I was told that the
