  1. I recently ordered and paid for a pink limo for my daughters 18th, it arrived in plenty of time, the girls were all dressed up and ready to go. They had some photos took inside and outside the limo. We noticed that there was a lot of steam coming from the bonnet and there was water all over the floor from the radiators. The driver stated that he thought the radiator had gone, he said that he could either offer us a refund or order another limo but it would be about 45 minutes (he rang another driver who told him that there was a large water contained in the back, that made me wonder if this was not a one off). The girls had set their hearts on arriving in style and it was decided to order another limo, but it would have to be a white on as they had not got another pink. The 45 minutes turned into an hour and a half and when the limo arrived it had been on another job so it was not clean and the glasses had been used. I was told by the driver that in circumstances like this they normally made a refund to an account, but I wrote a letter to the company but they have stated that because we accepted another limo they wil not give us any refund. Is this the sort of thing that I can go to the small claims court, and if so can I make it worth my while by claiming for distress, embarressment and the upset caused to my daughter on her memorable day.
