  1. Thx for that m8, if sent them a offer of 25% on condition they remove the default. The account was opened in 2003, but as it defaulted in 2006 its another 3 years before it falls off lol.
  2. I have requested a copy of my cca and like everybody else they dont have one and wont pursue. I have tryed sending a settlement letter offering 10% minus £120 unlawful charges but they seem to just ignore them. My question is, as anyone actually offered littlewoods a settlement that they have accepted and got there default removed? If so can you please give the percentage and the address you sent the letter. Cheers Gez
  3. Hi, I would like to ask if someone can help me with a template letter to send these clowns regarding a full and final settlement with conditions of no further liability and removal of data from the cras. Below i will set out what’s happened so far 1) Littlewoods sold debt to Capquest (sent me notice of assignment) 2) I sent the standard cca request to Capquest: Only received a photocopy of account statement which showed £120 charges & another copy of the assignment during the 12+2 time frame. 3) Sent Capquest "account in dispute inc s10 dpa" letter: Received a letter from Littlewoods saying that they were unable to provide a copy of the credit agreement. 4) Received a letter from Capquest stating: The account was been passed back to Littlewoods on the basis that the dispute concerns the absence of the copy agreement. Also Littlewoods would not pursue me for the remaining balance as a copy of the agreement cannot be readily available. Capquest say they will remove the default, but Littlewoods will automatically re-apply the default as the debt still exists. The only conclusion i can think of to clear my credit file would be to offer f+f settlement on condition of removal of defaults. Current Balance is £617 Inc Charges of £120 If anyone as any ideas or a template letter I should send them i would appreciate it. Gez
  4. hi m8, thx for replying ill have a read through that thread. Do you think i should send them a letter requesting the cca and the default notice? also am i right in thinking if they dont have a signed cca i can get the default removed?. Thx
  5. Hi, Im trying to get a settled default removed from my credit file but am stuck and need some advice. in 2003 i opened an account with Argos Additions and In 2006 i lost my job and was unable to keep up repayments. The debt then was passed from 1 collection agency to the next and eventually went quite untill 2007 when i got a letter from Fredrickson International, aka Brian Carter solicitors, where i setup a repayment plan which was settled a few months ago. I know i didnt sign any credit agreement and cant find any letter informing me about a default notice. No default was placed on my file until i setup a repayment plan with frederickson int in 2007. I sent them a letter saying exacly that, to a responce of the following. To confirm, this Argos Additions account was started 18/05/2003 and defaulted 28/06/2006. The catalogue would have been the company who issued the default notice to you. We took over management of the account on 30/04/2007 and have noted and recorded on your credit file that the account has now been paid in full. We, however, cannot remove the notice of default, this will remain on the account for six years from the date of default, as stated by the catalogue. If however you wish to dispute this we will need it in writing to further query with Argos Additions directly. Additionally if you are requesting a copy of the signed credit agreement, this is also needed in writing. If you wish to discuss this further we can also be contacted on 08458396323 or by post PO Box 650, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 3EN. I hope this helps in resolving this issue. Any ideas where i go from here? any template letters ect. Thanks Gez
