  1. Well at least you can make sense of this THANK YOU CAB didn't have any answers yesterday but they said that they would get another advisor to call me And Disable benefits advisor from another advice service is going to call me too But really the only one who has had a clue what's going on her is you so THANK YOU I'll keep you updated
  2. Well still can't sleep ! I should be grateful for the 4 hours I managed Original DLA was middle rate care and higher rate mobility Moving over to PIP standard care standard mobility 2 points off enhanced Reconsideration was only meant to be for mobility part but they reviewed the whole claim and I got enhanced for both No he is a working director .... part time work so was paid within my ESA His accountant sent back some form they sent us a while back with figures I did post a question about this form at the time can't remember what it was called.
  3. No has been on 20 hours since he returned to work ??? even DWp dont know why ??? comes to something when they don't even understand their own calculations ! One of the advice services said to me today there is no such thing as WTC anymore so why on earth have the put him down for it I think it maybe because I am contributions based rather than income based ESA Hence me panicking and stressing about accepting this trial employ ! I haven't slept in 39 hours so I'm going to try and sleep now but please don't think I'm ignoring you I will reply in the morning..
  4. My husband works 20 hours and I get higher rate PIP on car and mobility I spoke to DWP no answer - CAB no answer - Turn to us no answer I get disability premium but doesn't say severe disability this is stressing me out
  5. Unclebulgaria You would be confused too wouldn't you they are paying me money which I have no clue where/why they are so I will try CAB to see if they can shed any light on this. If anyone else has knowledge of these things please to comment, I think the more information is better to guide me through this process given DWP HMRC haven't a clue and CAB will be difficult to get hold of now with the covid situation
  6. Hello every body Well here you go I'll try to make a long story short I am an ESA support claimant contribution based indefinite entitlement. I have had my PIP claim increased under mandatory reconsideration. Around Christmas time for some reason my husband was issued WTC and therefore Now working child tax credit for one child. I was totally lost I contacted HMRC and they said they didn't know why it had changed but as far as they were concerned everything was right. Got a letter from council tax saying that my entitlement had changed
  7. Honey Bee I wonder if you are there It never rains but it poors things come in 3's DLA-PIP entitlement has stayed the same less 2 points so I lose my car that I only picked up at the beginning of October ridiculous after a 15 year entitlement. Assessor was suggesting my answers and did not understand the neurological effects of a migraine (annoyed face) so is making judgements about my ability to drive amazing what you can pass judgement on in a telephone consultation as a nurse who has no understanding of my disease . She phoned me back also 2/3 day
  8. Bankfodder We found one for sale Ours 1 year older and 20k more miles https://www.directmotorsj28.co.uk/detail/241947/used-audi-a3-1-8-tfsi-s-line-special-edition-3dr-manual-alfreton Our car was in exactly to same condition it was pristine
  9. The call handler that is "dealing" with these inappropriate figures it will be on their call recording surely?
  10. I said to then that we want an independent evaluation and she said we can't have one? Looks like I have a good foot to start from all thanks to you
  11. BankFodder There are no other cars like his for sale in the uk. He had an Audi A3 black edition 3 door tsfi 1.8 - its a special edition. ITS RARE The only nearly comparable vehicle is the 5 door version If he accepted this he would walk away with £3550 (thats with me and his dad paying the whole insurance premium as they will not take DD payment now. for him to pay us monthly) And I note from this they are asking for the £1600 which includes the credit agreement charge which should be deducted now shouldn't it? Oh My
  12. Help My son had an accident last week his insurance company came back to him this morning making an offer of £4100 This is at least £1500 less than the cost to replace the vehicle on speaking with them she wasn't even looking at the same specification vehicle. She came back quickly and said £4200 I said no then after an hour she came back to me and said the absolute maximum she will give me is £4500 Where do we go from here ? It is so much less than the cost of buying an equivalent vehicle.
  13. Drove past the road yesterday it's amazing that you drive for years and you don't notice these things yes it was downhill so reason for increased speed I've never noticed that before how bad is that me not knowing it was downhill there when I've been driving these roads for 30 years
  14. I will get my son to upload the video when he gets in. No down hill slope just a small gradient and from the turning he came out of its maybe 15 shops until the traffic lights. Maybe it didn't get faster but he feels like it did (not clear on the video) I'm picking him up from work tonight I'll pay attention to the gradient when I go back. He'd only changed up to 2nd so he wasn't driving fast Upside he knows now to always be prepared for ice
  15. So he has arranged to have repairs carried out by an approved repairer (his friends dad) rather than insurance fixing it so he gets paid out for it and he can keep it I mean what's the point of being fully comp if they try to get you not to claim for your vehicle
