Hi Well I went to the council yesterday, the lady told me the council dont employ bailiffs its the court, and there is no way they have access to anything on there computer, all she could see was payments made by the bailiffs to them, But not the £130 was still not showing, I told her they will have to pursue for that because as far as im concerened the debt is paid Going to write to them both now so they got it in writing aswell thx

Hi The council have been recieving payments from the bailiff, because when I phoned th council they told me all the amounts they had paid, but not the £130 which was paid a week before they added more charges on, they have taken there 2 visit fees out of previous amounts, Its just this £130 they are hanging onto, So I dont know what they are doing. Ive just been reading some above posts, Can he charge me the van fees on the day he levied on the car, Im sure he cant because no levy was in place when he arrived, Im going to the council today to tell them if they want there £130 the bailiff
  3. He levied on my partners car on his visit (which isnt on my property anymore) not levied on anything inside, They wont get in my house until the police come and allow it

  5. Hi Thats what I mean, they are gonna keep saying the liabilty order isnt paid because they havent had there fees, Im gonna ring the police if they come out again, there are like vulchers

  10. Hi thanks for the reply, no they have never been into my house, they posted a letter telling me what I owed and that is when I offered them £120 a month, since then all comunication has been by post, shall I go and pay the council what I owe them tommorow
  11. hello, Im urgently needing a bit of advice so was wondering if any one could pint me in the right direction please, Here goes I had a letter from the bailiffs in november last year regarding unpaid council tax from the current year, they agreed i could pay £120 month for 4 months, well last month I ended up paying a week late by a cheque that bounced, so I recieved a letter saying they wanted £266 in full, I didnt have that much so I paid £133 that day and was going to pay another £133 the week later, but they have just been out and added a van charge on, the total is now £310 they wa
