omg get of your high horses pleas... yes cheating the system is bad but some people do it out of desperation.. my friend has 4 kids and her ex partner had gambling and drink problems and gave her no money so she claimed as a single parent. her home was nothing special and all the money went on food and bills so i see no need in shaming and naming people like her

has anyone had any fun with the tv license man ? i just cant help myself but i love winding them up hahahah. was putting rubbish out the other day when i spotted what looked like a weasel faced tv license man coming in my street. he had tv license weasel wrote all over him. anyways he knocked on my door and when i answered started writing his form out then arogantley looked at me and said and im talking to whome? i replied excuse me but youve knocked on my door so who am i talking too. he flashed his badge like he was the lapd hahahah. i said hang on a minuit and closed the door... 15 minuits later the penny dropped an he realised i wasnt returning pmsl.. he then started shoutin through the letterbox he was callin the police an havin me in court.. so i opend the door an said i havnt even told you my name so when you call the cops who you gonna say you callin em on? then slammed door shut after tellin him to **** off... i dont know why i get a thrill out of winding tv license men up.. any of you got any funny tales id like to hear em hahahahahahah

my son was in debt and had dealings with lowells. i must admit that as my son is ill i took over with the debt and phoned lowells. they put a password on the account so i was able to deal with them as my son was so ill. they arranged a direct debit to come from my account an amount that was very low and i thought reasonable.. they stuck to the deal and for 6 months took no more no less. the debt finished this week and a got a call from them thanking me for the regular payments.i believe they was very fair and honest and always went through me instead of worrying my son who is ill.. im just being honest about my experience

yes i do.. it happened to me and i admitted it and it went away... they dont want to take you to court if they can help it they just want you to admit you have a partner if you have one and do the right thing..

i dont know why people are trying to frighten you mate... the benefit agency only care about you making a claim together with your partner... the same thing you say has happened to me 2 times.. i was interviewed under caution they had no proof and went away... the second time it was reported my partner lived at my adress... the visiting officer was actually very nice indeed and said the last thing he wanted was to prosecute me and would prefer it if i just went straight and claimed jointly with my partner which i did and no action was taken...dont let people scare you my friend .. they really dont know how it works till they have experienced it themselves... if you feel they have a lot of evidence admit it and claim with your girlfriend and they will let the matter drop...

hi ive just recieved a letter from link financial and phoned em for a giggle lol starts YOU HAVE BEEN SERVED A NOTICE? which got me riled straight away so i asked them which notice have i been served.. he stuttered a bit. id like to know if anyone can tell me. he said the debt is from 2002 but was defaulted in 2004. does statue barred start from the start of debt or defaulted date?

i think high court enforcer is winding people up. ive noticed hes jumped in a lot of threads giving a sarcastic opinion and does this just to wind people up.. its annoying when people are upset and need help and advise and could do without being made to feel guilty and bad..yes we all get into trouble and are in debt but good advise is usefull not some idiot on a pedestal making you feel worse then you do already

if you hadnt spoken to your friend 2 months before the holiday maybe she thought tthe holiday atmosphere would be strained. that would of spoilt everyones holiday... i think you should just put it down to a bad experience and let it go..

im going to take your advise and do that today tomtubby ty. the stress this firm has caused me is huge... 4 days before xmas a mr robinson from dukes came demanding cash and before he even did a levy he was shouting on his mobile outside requesting a van then sayin he phonin the police and getting a locksmith...i was so embarassed i let him in and then felt tricked when he started then doing a levy... he was my sofa was 10 years old and fallin apart but did a levy on it anyway.. then listed all my kids movies including disney films.. mini hifi of my sons that was broke.. an dvd player.. said he was takin the lot tv as well.. when he realised i had nothing he said he would be back on wensday the 18th for money or he was takin things listed.. my whole christmas was ruined as all i could think of was him takin my old couch an us havin nothin to sit on because there was no way i had the cash.. my husband left me 2 years ago and cleaned me out before he left..ive been so stressed over this mess.

the bailiff firm was dukes.
