  1. Thanks for the replys, I've just got back from sending them the letter for not coming to my adress without an appointment that I don't wish to make with them. And I've contacted Intrum in the past but they refuse to listen to anything about my situation and I've never agreed to pay anything and have always made it very clear that I can't afford to pay what I owe them right now.
  2. Hey Guys. I had a letter from Intrum this morning telling me that after agreeing to pay them last month (something I have never agreed to) they will now be sending a Debt Collector to my home within the next few days to collect payment, what do they mean by this? I thought a Debt Collector could only come round with a Court Judgement to collect goods/money? Is there anything I could do to stop them from coming?
  3. Im concerned about Debt Collectors more at the moment, as I said Im living with my parents and I wouldnt want them turning up here taking things that I dont own as it was all brought by my parents.
  4. I wish I could just ignore it but being out of work at the moment if it did end up going to court and there being additional costs I wouldnt be able to afford them so it's not something i can chance
  5. Im planning on sending a letter later today explaining the situation, I have tried many times on the telephone and have recieved the same answer saying they needed an upfront payment to 'Hold' the debt but it would not be subtracted from the amount owed. EDIT: It wasn't for neither, I sold something online and then transfered the money from one paypal account another, Payment was then reversed by Paypal and my first account went into negative balance and they locked both accounts from receving or sending any sort of payment, so the money i owe paypal is currently sitting in my Perso
  6. Hey guys I posted a while back about a debt owed to paypal and it being moved to Intrum Justita after telling them that I cannot pay them anything until April as thats when my locked paypal funds get released to me they have sent me a letter this morning saying I defaulted on a Monthly Payment Plan that I had agreed with them to pay the full amount over a monthly plan! I have never agreed any such agreement as from the start I have been telling them that I cannot pay them the money owed as Im out of work and living at home at the moment. The letters are now threatening court action and th

  8. After long telephone calls with Paypal it seems the only way Im going to be able to remove the limitations is by getting a bank account and removing the limitations from both accounts. Thanks alot everyone for all the help and holding my hand through this disaster.
  9. Thanks alot Bookworm. I am sending that letter as soon as possible. I also wrote an email to Paypal asking how to remove the limitations on my account hoping that theyll provide me with atleast some information, If not then Ill have to find out what my options are if they refuse to remove the limitations preventing me from paying the debt.
  10. I dont mean to be a bother with this but unfortunately im one of those people who worry and keep worrying. The situation stands at the moment with : I have the money owed to them in a Paypal account that I cannot access because they have Limited it. I have contacted them asking how to remove the limitation but I didn't get a response. I have aboslutely no other options to pay off the debt (unemployed, living with parents) except the money in that Paypal account. Could anyone tell me the worse case scenario and possibly what my next move should be?
  11. I phoned paypal today and they were their usual helpfull selves. They wont remove the limitations on my account (The holding your funds for 180days) nor will they transfer the funds and have told me to resolve it with Intrum Justitia
  12. Ive recently recieved a debt collection letter from Intrium Justitia on behalf of paypal. After selling something on the internet the buyer disputed the money he transfered and I recieved the item back, however this was a few days after I had transfered the money from my account to another paypal. On the day in question I phoned Paypal up and the woman on the phone told me it would just be reversed, after it wasnt both accounts had limited access and I couldnt move any funds. I phoned Paypal about this and they said access was limited and they could not transfer the money back to my
