  1. Thanks - really appreciate your advice. I forgot to mention though that the credit limit was written in by hand after the application was submitted (I erased details before uploading the image - sorry!) - and the APR tick box was selected on page 2. Do you think it's still ok? Thanks again for the letters - very helpful!
  2. Hi Just wondering if someone could look at the CCA I received from First Trust? http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/Page1.jpg http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/page2.jpg http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/Page3.jpg http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/Page4.jpg I'd previously received advice on this forum that the agreement wasn't enforceable (ambigous prescribed terms) and I sent off a reply to First Trust stating this. They've since responded that they have supplied a true copy of the agreement and that they will
  3. Hi The credit limit was written in by hand after the application was submitted - apologies, but I removed this from the image on page 1. Page 2 lists the APR at 12.9% so really it's only the repayment terms I'm unsure of. I take it the information on page 2 doesn't cover this sufficiently? I'm a novice at all this (obviously!) so sorry if my questions are pretty basic. Could you tell me what exactly is omitted so I can state this in my reply to First Trust? Thanks again for your advice.
  4. Thanks. Sorry to be so vague, but could you tell me what prescribed terms it should contain?
  5. Hi I received a copy of my CCA from First Trust: http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/Page1.jpg http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/page2.jpg http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/Page3.jpg http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/Page4.jpg Could someone take a look at it for me and advise if it's enforceable? The account was opened in 2000. Thanks Tinman
  6. Hi Could someone advise if I need to send the same dispute letter for both accounts or is there one specific to an unreadable CCA? Thanks again
  7. Thanks a million. Could you point me in the direction of the dispute letter(s)?
  8. Hi I have two accounts with M&S Money and have just received the following CCAs - do you think they are enforceable? 1992 Chargecard http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/0220_001.jpg http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/0222_001.jpg http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/0223_001.jpg http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/0224_001-1.jpg http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/0225_001.jpg http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/0227_001.jpg http://i641.photobucket.com/albums/uu132/paulr62/0224_001.jpg
  9. Hi Thanks again for your advice. As my 12+2 days are up on Monday, would you still advise that I send the letter given that it is likely to arrive on the expiry date? Also, I have sent both letters to First Trust by recorded delivery and neither have tracked properly on the Royal Mail website. First Trust have stamped all correspondence on receipt - would this be sufficient proof of delivery or do I need to go back to Royal Mail ? When I phoned their contact centre I was told to contact the delivery office directly - superb service! Thanks
  10. Hi Just wondering if anyone could provide me with some advice. As per my previous posts, First Trust returned my CCA request on the 10th Feb as it did not contain a specimen signature. I sent a further letter (as per Rooster UK's advice) but -yet again- they have returned the letter to me with the same reason attached. The 12+2 days will expire on Monday. Can ayone advise what I should do next? Thanks
  11. Sorry, another question. Does this mean First Trust have another 12+2 days to respond or do original dates apply?
  12. Hi Would appreciate some advice please. First Trust (AIB) have returned my CCA request and postal order: the compliments slip states that I need to sign and return my letter before my request can be processed. Apparently they cannot verify my identity without my signature Could someone please advise what I should do next? Thanks in advance.
