  1. Thanks for all your help and advice over the months. I am hoping someone might be able to advise on the way forward with Barclaycard. I am pushing to see the signed agreement, but keep getting photocopies of Ts and Cs. Not even the application form! I have been pushing since early last year using templates form this site but to no luck. The latest letter I recieved is as follows: http://i49.tinypic.com/2z7r820.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/300qplk.jpg http://i45.tinypic.com/2d6jtl0.jpg My intention is to agree a sum to clear the debt, and want to find out if the CCA is valid in order to assess a reasonable amount to clear. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Many Thanks
  2. Hi, apologies for delay again, been away from computer. Here are the scans of letters from Halifax. 10 pages of Ts and Cs. None of these seem to bear my signature, and seem to be printed, rather than copied. I would be greatful if anyone could let me know if this is acceptable. My gut instinct is that it isnt, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. http://i47.tinypic.com/358t1mv.jpg http://i49.tinypic.com/11bm2a8.jpg http://i47.tinypic.com/au73o3.jpg http://i49.tinypic.com/jtm4av.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/k37x48.jpg http://i45.tinypic.com/zsoh1u.jpg http://i47.tinypic.com/2dv21x3.jpg http://i49.tinypic.com/rj00wn.jpg http://i45.tinypic.com/hs89wp.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/dw6xhu.jpg http://i47.tinypic.com/2n1uxcj.jpg Thanks in advance
  3. Hi MandM, apologies for deayed reply, I have been away from the internet! Halifax sent a copy of terms and conditions over a few pages, no photocopy nor signature on there, just a list that could have been typed at anytime, would it be easier to scan and post on here? Barclaycard are doing the same sort of thing. For Barclaycard and Halifax, I recieved letters from different agencies, and I requested CCA from them, and to get a response from Barclays and Halifax, rather than whom they passed the debt to (am I right in understanding that are part of Halifax, and Mercers are part of Barclaycard?). Natwest, I sent them this before for my credit card, and used the same letter for all creditors, and they all seemed to respond (albeit evasively), and it seems natwest are playing silly bu66ers! i will resend to them with photocopies.
  4. Evening all Many Thanks for your help in the past, I am looking for some more advice. I am strugging to get copies of my CCA from Natwest and Halifax. I have used templtes from this site (asking for signatures etc) and keep getting fobbed off (see attached letters). Natwest keep saying similar. I sent an account in dispute, to which they replied I had not requested correcty as I omited the £1 fee, so I sent that with another CCA request letter, and recieved the letter below saying they do not need to provde it, so I appear to be stuck in a loop! Halifax have passed account to Albion (internal dept to Halifax afaik) and now say they have passed to westcot. I sent a CCA etter to westcot and recived the letter below from Halifax (note the last paragraph doesnt even read English!). Im at a loss on how to proceed with this and would appreciate any advice from the experts on how to progress and move forward. Many Thanks in advance. Rakesh Edit: I have added a link to pics of scans as these came up too small http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=xlmc6q&s=6 http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=334u5wh&s=6
  5. I had a feeling so, many thanks for your time in looking. Cheers
  6. morning all on this lovely BH weekend! I was wondering if anyone would be able to check the attached if possible, I appreciate everyone is busy, so any advice greatly appreciated.
  7. Hi, im hoping I have posted in the right place, I have recieved replies to my CCA request, but only 2 seem to be photocopies (others seem to just be typed terms, but will pursue this later). I have a feeling that these are indeed enforcable, but thought id run this past the experts all the same. I would be greatful for any feedback recieved. If they are enforcable as suspected, is there a way I could make a full and final offer to "get it off my chest" as it were! Your time in reading is much appreciated, and I look forward to reading your replies (i think ) http://i25.tinypic.com/2yyb0hs.jpg http://i25.tinypic.com/vfgsyg.jpg http://i28.tinypic.com/2s8n5fl.jpg Cheers
  8. Apologies if this is repeated, i have been trying to search but no luck. None of my creditors have not reposnded to my original CCA, well 1 said they had no record, the other are insisting on a signature from me (even though I contested this was legal) around a month has passed and I want to send the 12+2 account in default letter. I am thinking to combine this with a Full and final settlement offer. Does this sound illogical and could I be making it worse by offering payment? I have searched around for a template combining the 2 but with no luck, so im wondering if it would be a good move or not. Any advice greatly appreciated. Many Thanks
  9. Hi all, looking for a bit of advice. I recently sent a letter to Natwest requesting a copy of the CCA for my credit card (following advice from here) I sent postal order and didnt sign letter etc. However I recieved a response quoting my card number as the reference saying they have no record of this "loan" and asked if i could provide dates of when this was taken out etc, has anyone else recieved this letter, im tempted to ignore it/store it and follow with a 12+2 letter if necessary Any advice appreciated Cheers
  10. hi all, interesting threads, does this mean that if a notice has been issued with the reg XXO2XXX instead of XX02XXX it would be invalid? comparing the 0's and O's on the ticket it is clearly a typo, but wonder what you guys throught as it may be seen as a grey area! Thanks in advance
