could any one help me i looked online but cant find a similar situation basically a year and a half ago brighthouse reposessed a laptop i had of them and that was that or so i thought. today i got a leter from apex credit sollutions working as a dept collection agency on behalf of bright house for missing 2 payments of £14 plus late payment charges which they have been adding on over the passed year and a half bringing it to a grand total of £500 + . i phoned the company apex to question this and they said brighthouse have been trying to contact me lots over the time period and because they couldnt get hold of me passed it to them. i have not moved or anything and they have not contacted me or my references once about the issue after collecting the laptop i dont no where i stand i really dont want to pay out 500 pound for missing 28 pound any help would be great thanks
