  1. I asked Nat West on the 7th Februrary for a CCA for the joint overdraft. They have replied with this letter. What can I do now??

  10. Hi cerberusalet. Thanks for your reply. I asked for my bank charges back and they settled to the tune of £3500.00 last year, so do I still need to ask for this report? As far as I know no other significant charges have been made. If I did not sign anything for the overdraft is it still enforceable? What should I do now? I have not paid any money into the account for the last month and stopped all the DD and SO's but obviously the interest is piling on? Roko20650
  11. roko20650 v Nat West Bank I asked the bank for a copy of the signed credit agreement and they have replied by returning my £1 cheque and saying that there is no credit agreement for an overdraft and that this rule does not apply? What happens now? Any help would be appreciated
  12. Hi all, Egg Card I asked them to send me a copy of my credit agreement and they have now done so, they say in their letter "signed" copy of my credit agreement but its not signed. What happens now?
  13. Thanks for the response, at present can't afford anything thats the problem and I have never not paid before. I have been pointed in the direction of Payplan or CCCS so I will give them a ring and see what they suggest and then weigh up my optionsl. It feels good to start taking control though.
  14. Thanks, for the info, the company I have spoken to recently want to charge about 17% plus an admin charge up front of £250! I will speak to CCCS and/or Payplan as I have so many questions to ask.

  16. Hi thanks for your thoughts, the problem is that until my husband finds work we can only afford to pay the mortgage and essential bills to keep us going there is no money for creditors at all. Someone has told me that you can ask for a your credit agreement and see if the debt is enforceable and I need template letters or something to ask in the right way, so far we have not missed any payments but now is crunch time, no money left!
  17. Help please, husband has been laid off work and cannot find any employment, he is self employed and we are homeowners. We cannot pay our Barclaycards and wonder if there is anything we can do to help ourselves other than go to debt management solution. Ta muchly
