It is two different accounts for different amounts, I am paying the smaller amount as that is what i owe, I keep writing and telephoning and get nothing useful! only a CCA for the account i'm already paying? each time someone gives me a different answer and then the next person says there is no record of the previous conversation??? it's making me crazy i'll CCA them again but beyond that what do i do??? they sent a man round twice without an appointment so i shoved the appointment needed letter in his face and locked the door then it goes on hold for 5 months then starts up again

Hi I pay an amount to the lewis group/ Cl finance for my oven which i defaulted on when my husband was left brain injured after a crash, we pay monthly but we are now being billed again for the same thing? Basically when we bought oven a clerk started off the paperwork for £*** but then we were able to pay half then and there so he cancelled it and then did the new paperwork for half the amount but now it looks like the Lewis lot want to calim money for the first account which has obviously been generated in error, I wrote and explained and telephoned and explained and it went on hold but now they have sent a red letter and i just don't know how to prove i don't owe it??? can anyone help Many thanks Lalou

the lewis group have been persuing me for a debt which i owe so am paying them small weekly amounts however they now alledge that i owe another debt to the same company that was set up on the same day!!!! obviously the origional creditorr set up the second in error??? i can prove i only have one oven! i had 2 witnesses when i bought the item and set up the account 7yrs ago, what can i do they have turned up twice to discuss the problem but dont listen when i explain!! thanks lalou

i have not made a payment to them since i took over my husbunds affairs which is just under 6 yrs ago. he is brain injured and so doesnt remember anything before 2004 (2003 was in a bit of a haze pain medication brain scans etc) i would have known if he had had this card so cannot work it out. we never had letters or anything about this until lowell started hounding in febuary!!!

hi a while back i posted to say that lowell were persuing my husbund for money on a credit card we didnt know exsisted! well after many months they have sent the application certificate! it has a little box at the bottom saying credit card agreement then there are several pages of bumf it doesn't state a credit limit ??? to be honest im at a loss, the signiture looks like my husbunds but he had a car accident after this was taken out and is severley brain injured he has no memory of this debt and when i took over the finances i have never seen a bill for it!!! i dont know what to do i shall scan this in and then see if any of you clever people can help!!! thanks lalou

well somehow the sods have got my number! the hounding has begun... ive sent a second cca by recorded del todaybut can someone tell me about s.a.r's ??? do these mean i can have all the info crap one have on whoever set up the debt in pats name???? helllllp

i know i sound like a whimp but i dont know how these things work what if we get to court n they say his name and d.o.b his address n the judge finds that good enough ????
