  1. I can't remember, is there any way I can find this out? I had applied for the card originally online and I can't find any documents relating to this.
  2. Hi, I'm new here and have been reading lots of posts and information about PPI's but I'm still slightly confused by the issue. Here's my current situation: I have a credit card with Mint, my credit limit is not very high, I haven't missed any payments or exceeded my limit, nor have I incurred any charges etc. I am however charged each month for "Payment Protection" (amount varies from around £2-£5/month). As I am voluntarily unemployed, and have been for just over a year now, this insurance is not valid is it? In which case I have been paying for insurance that does not actually insure me at all? I have requested cancellation of this Payment Protection online, they are sending me out the cancellation letter which I will need to sign and send back to them, but will I be able to claim these payments back? As I opted for online statements as opposed to paper statements, I only have access to the previous 6mths statements so at the moment I can't work out how much I insurance I have paid in total. I'm also not sure when I even took out the card (I'm useless I know!) but I reckon it must be about 2 years or so. One more thing, I read in another topic something about the interest charges incurred regarding PPI's. Can anyone shed more light on this and advise me as to what I should do now? Many thanks in advance for any help!!
