1. you`ll need M$ works or excell for the spreadsheet calculater to work, all you need to do is enter the date, amount and type of charge and it`ll do it all itself http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/182-6-interest-calculation-spreadsheets.html - you just need to click on the version you wish to use. As for paper or online, personally i went paper and would reccomend that to anyone as you can fit more onto the POC
2. its all pretty standard stuff really, i take it you included a schedule of charges with your prelim, LBA, and an interest spreadsheet with your N1? its just scare tactics at the end of the day, as for the CPR.18, look in this thread started by Martin - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/natwest-bank/35672-cobbetts-cpr-18-request.html
3. welcome to the site, i think this is the link you are looking for - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/516-1-data-protection-act.html Also dont forget to read this aswell - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/faqs-please-read-these/ You may want to start off a thread in the Lloyds folder and keep updating and letting us know how you are getting on or post any questions in there Good luck
4. Nice one Martin, congrats You coming to London then lol?
5. Why pay someone a % to do it, when you can do it yerself for free, personally i wouldnt touch those companies with a 10 foot electrified cattleprod.
6. Ahh yes my friend, but there is a HUGE difference between the NHS and the MOD, the NHS doesnt have armed patrols with orders to shoot to kill....but then again
7. I work for the NHS in Warrington, and we`re still allowed to smoke on the grounds, were told it would be banned completley but it hasnt, the extra cost in insurance wouldn`t have been worth it, if it had been banned you could still smoke in your car as the trust `do not accept any liability` for the vehicle whilst in the carpark, therefore it is your responsibility and therefore still your property and you can do whatever you want in it.
8. Cobblers are defending both `RBoS` snad shatwest, many ppl have had that on the letters against RBoS, i wouldnt worry about it, also in regard to the CPR PT.18 (i think thats what you`ve got) i`d send this letter the cobblers - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/natwest-bank/35672-cobbetts-cpr-18-request.html Its in the natwest thread, but as i said, they defending both banks, its just a stalling tactic.
9. firstly you need to read this link - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=92 then the rest should slip into place

16. welcome to the site Bex, if you`ve read the FAQ`s everything should slot into place, as for the pitfalls, just be weary of the banks/solicitors dirty tactics lol, but dont worry they pay up in the end. Good luck

18. Hi and welcome to the site, firstly it would be prudent to read and fully understand http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/faqs-please-read-these/ then after that you`ll find all the letters you will need here http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/ It`ll be a good idea to read the fhreads in your own banks forum to see how other ppl have been getting on so you`ll know what to expect, open a thread of your owm and post updates or any questions you may have. Good luck
