thanks for your replies yes he has a ccj and thats orange and at the side it says 397 pounds the debt collection agency is direct legal and collections

thanks for your reply it was 4 years ago he has heard nothing from orange or the debt collection agency during this time they are both now asking for money because he queried the debt on his credit file and experian gave him orange number to contact

hi everyone not sure if i am doing this right i am not computer savvy anyway my son checked his credit file with experian and he has a ccj with orange and money outstanding of 397 pounds this was 2004 he vaguely remembers and thought he did a settlement but it was over the phone so no confirmation in writing (oh if only i knew about this site) so he queried experian and after experian sending off to orange was given number to phone orange will he did today and yes they want thier money of course no record of any settlement and they will take him to court if they dont get it anyway we searched threw drawers anf found a direct legal collections book so we thought he paid them but apparently not and they wanted 170 legal fees he has not heard anything since 2004 any advice please the court was northampton
