  1. Alanalana thanks for clarifying that, with out hijacking this thread Lloyds tsb have added £6,071.40 + 6.9% interest on my current existing of Loan £26485,20 including 6.9 % interest would it be wise to send a cca request since I'm still making payments this loan and have made 25 monthly payments todate of £550 from 10/2006? or is there a thread with a similar case to mine? Apologies I will start a new thread
  2. What is the difference of PPi and LLP(Loan for Loan Protection Insurance)?
  3. Hi I've had a loan with Lloyds tsb since 0ctober 2006 of which I am currently still paying. Now when I went to one of their branches, they offered me consolidate a Barclays careers development loan with my Graduate loan which came up to £22,457.30. Total with interest £26,485.20 at the rate of 6.9% now they added LLP insurance (Loan for Loan Protection insurance)of £5,148,30 which I did not want, and that has it's own interest at the rate of 6.9% over a period of 60 months. At the time I thought I would paying Total of £26,485.20 but I now realise the Total for the Loan including LLP over the period of 60 months is £32,556.60 and the monthy payments are £542.61 everymonth which is a struggle. So far I have manage to pay 25 payments. Question is there a way of challenging this? or would it be easier to go with no win no fee lawyers who charge 25% when all is done? Please Help Thanks in advance.
  4. hi I'm ready to send the letter below but is it appropriate for my case? are there any cases like mine on the forum that one could point me to so I can have a look at? Do I stop making payments until they have replied? My address Date xxxx Lloyds TSB Personal Loan Service Centre, P.O. Box 42, Peterlee, SR8 2YQ Dear Sir/Madam Re: − Account/Reference Number 1234567890 With reference to the above agreement, I would be grateful if you would send me a copy of this credit agreement. I understand that under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (Sections 77−79), I am entitled to receive a copy of my credit agreement on request. I enclose a payment of £1.00 which represents the fee payable under the Consumer Credit Act. To eliminate any doubt as to what information should be sent: A copy of the credit agreement signed by both parties. A signed statement of the payments made by me over the term. Payments missed by me (if any). The total debt outstanding. If I have a payment plan with you, the due date for the rest of the monies. If there are other documents mentioned in the agreement, they must also be included. I understand a copy of the credit agreement should be supplied within 12 working days. I understand that under the Consumer Credit Act creditors are unable to enforce an agreement if they fail to comply with a request for a copy of the agreement under these sections of the Act. I look forward to hearing from you. Yours faithfully, XXXXX
