  1. will do, im reading your thread with great intrest, there isnt much to be found on soloution on here,im hoping they wont have some way round the cca thing. thanks for the help. minni
  2. thanks for the reply, they cant call even if they wanted to as they dont have my number, some one rang me last yr and i told then to remove my phone number from their information and only constact me by letter, ive not had any calls since so hoping i should avoid this. do you know how it stands that the card numbers differ? ive kept the old card so i can prove its not the same as the littlewoods card they sent me. if they do call me i will note the date time persons name and then tell them im not prepared to disscuss it over the phone and to put it in writing, is this the right way to go about it?
  3. no no letter, i have got my own thread on this but not much help as of yet, i was also having payment difficulties, well still am really. set a cca today to see if they have one for this accout, if it was just an updated card would it not have the same number on it? sorry to high jack your thread but you seem to know what your doing and i dont have a clue,
  4. ok, cca posted today, just got to wait now but what do i do if they dont respond? id like to be ready.
  5. can i ask did they do to you what they did to me? they sent me a new card by littlewoods and cancelled my soultion account transfering the balance to the littlewoods card. they have different account numbers, to me this would make any agreement unenforcable, is that correct? or am i the only one they did this to? julie
  6. sorry the balance was about £4000 dare say its a great deal more now
  7. hi, at present im not paying any thing to the acount as my hubby is on sick so our income has dropped massively, i have tried to sort out an arrangment but they wont agree to it, so the solution account was closed and the balance transfered to the new littlewoods card. i wasnt told this was happening, the first i knew of it was when a littlewoods card came in the post and i called to question it. i never signed anything to do with this account, would it be enforceable? i dont get statments off them any more so not sure whats happening re charges etc,but saying that they havent been to pushy about getting payment so maybe they know their in te wrong here? a friend of a friend who works at a debt managment comp said it looks as if they maybe trying to get round the contracts by opening the new account after 2007, sorry to ramble but i really dont know what im talking about, i hope this makes sense any more help would be great, julie
  8. ive had a solution card for afew yrs, i took it out in a store when i purchased some items. i have used the card off and on since then, my hubby had an accident at work , our income dropped massively and i couldnt keep up they payments. about a yr ago a new card appeared through the post, it said littlewoods on it and the letter with it said i had a £4000 limit, i had no idea what this card was so rang the number, i was told tht this was now my solution card and the balance from it would be transfured to this new card? i never signed anything for this card, the account number is different to the old card, where do i stand? will be sending for a cca on mon, please could some one give me some pointers? ive posted 4 different posts over the last few days and so far have had a grand total of one reply, im unsure of taking on all these big compaines as it is, i was really hoping for some support so i know im not alone. thanks in advance, have sent cca, but im still not sure how i stand re changing my account no etc any advise please.

  10. i had a solution card for afew yrs, i took it out in a store when i purchased some items. i have used the card off and on since then, anyway, my hubby had an accident at work , our income dropped massively and i couldnt keep up they payments. about a yr ago a new card appeared through the post, it said littlewoods on it and the letter with it said i had a £4000 limit, i had no idea what this card was so rang the number, i was told tht this was now my solution card and the balance from it would be transfured to this new card? i never signed anything for this card, the account number is different to the old card, where do i stand? will be sending for a cca on mon, any advise please.
  11. he did have a medical condition when he took out the second loan the accident happened about a month before he took out the new loan, and yes he did have ppi, at the time we thought he'd only be off short term but his prob has now been diagnosed as life long, black horse where aware of his accident but put the loan through as my hubby was still technicaly employed. ive asked them for a statement with a break down of what is what, they have never sent us one in the two yrs weve had the loan and this is the first time we have been told we have ppi, we cant cancelle it now any way they wont do it. thanks for the reply,
  12. in 2006 we took out a loan, it was taking over an old loan as well as borrowing additional money, my husband was off work at the time due to an accident, at the time we thought this would be short term however on further investigation we found out he was going to be off indefinantly, blackhorse knew about him being off at the time of the loan, they also only suggested PPI - added in a lump sum to the balance of the loan, on finding out about my husbands long term work prospects we called to cancel the ppi, we had only had it for a very short time. however the staff at blackhorse were sure we could still claim as it was running on from another loan. they "investigated " this for afew months and came back to us saying we could not claim, again my husband told them to cancel the ppi, which he was told was done. we didnt know it hadnt been taken off as we are on a repayment plan so our payment wouldnt have changed , 2 days ago we got a letter off them, it stated we are still paying ppi! we have never had any indication ppi was still applied to the loan, it was never mentioned in other letters. i rang them yestoday and was told theyd look into it and would call me back today at 12. well obviuosly they didnt call so i called them they have looked into it and decided they have no record of the cancellation, i asked him why would we keep ppi when we cant claim on it? he said he can see my point and told me to make a complaint. did they missell us ppi? im sure they did. im also planning on getting a cca from them, my hubby was sold a loan based on his income when he was at work even though he was on sick. also the man on the phone today told me their were boxes missing on the aggreement when we appiled in 2006?? not sure how we stand on this , i really dont know what im doing any advise would be great. i know i need to print off a templete letter and send a £1 po, but other than that im pretty stummped. i have also posted this in ppi section
