hi had a car that i sold in december 2008.sent off my bit of the log book. moved house shortly afterwards. today i recieved a letter from inter credit international saying that the dvla is preparing a claim against me as the registered keeper of an unlicensed vehicle and offered me an £80 out of court settlement. i phoned them and they just say nothing they can do as i should have contacted them after 4 weeks etc, but i honestly didn't know about that. now i just wondered if anyone could advise me on how to fight this or if i can at all. many thanks
