  2. Hi My farther had already had 2 successful claims on the ppi at first they refused the ppi complaint but then when i took it to the fos they upheld the ppi complaint and advised lloyds TSB to refund around £400 which was the amount paid in ppi plus interest minus the 2 successful claims. John
  3. Hi The interest refund was calculated at £6,282 and was agreed in march 2011 and ended up getting credited on December 2011. the loan was for £25,000 including the ppi the £10,709 is what is left after payments and the refund of the interest. The letter in February to confirm the payment and advise the account was closed would have been when the balance was £10,709. john

  5. Hi Yes after there "good will gesture" credit to the account back in December the balance they say would be owed is correct but once they had credited the refund the letter saying no more payment was required letter was issued.

  9. Hey Will keep it short, I complained about the mis-selling of the loan, Got a refund of the interest credit back to the loan account in January 2012, and agreement a payment plan. Got the letter from Consumer debt recovery confirming the payment and that the account was closed. The payment book that was meant to have been issued never arrived, See Picture one of the letter 2 days ago got a phone call and today this arrived Lloyds TSB say the first letter was sent in error and told me to bin it (as if i will do that) but say i still need to pay the balance requested by Iqore. I have made a complaint with LLoyds TSB Leeds for the consumer debt recovery complaints just looking for advice on what i should be doing if anything Any advice ?
  10. If it went that far i had to submit a BCOBS claim would there be a member here who could help me file the form ? Thanks
  11. Hi I do feel a £500 compensation payment would be fair to split between both my mother and farther as the extra stress and un-needed upset has made there medical conditions worse over the short term. Would you agree that would be a reasonable amount to claim for ? Thanks
  12. Hey Thanks for the advice, Is there a template / draft that i could edit for the Letter before action ? as when it comes to the letter writing I get very confused with that to put and the correct terms to use. Thanks !
  13. Hey members First off happy new year. I am planning to issue a small claims court claim against Lloyd's TSB on behalf of my mother and farther. Here is what has happened so far : I submitted a complaint about PPI mis-selling in March and got a letter late march to advice they will not be uploading my complaint and would be free to take it to the F.O.S which i did. The F.O.S in august 4th returned the file to Lloyd's TSB advising them to make a redress offer within 10 weeks. Lloyd's TSB finally issued a offer letter dated 28th November I made many phone calls each time getting promised the cheque would be here in time for xmas for my parents to use some of the money to get my 13 year old brother xmas gifts 10 days before xmas we were promised it had been sent out, 7 days later still no cheque but got a phone call, Sorry about this it will be issued tomorrow 2nd class mail. I told them i am not at all happy at the service they offered a parenthetic sum of £200 between my parents in addition to the PPI refund as a sorry. I have advised £200 is no were near enough the upset that this caused over the xmas period and extra stress this casued on my farther with the medical conditions he suffers from he does not need additional stress been caused. I have advised Lloyd's TSB I do not with to accepted there £200 and will be submitting a small claims court form if they do not increase there offer to a more realistic figure. Any advise on this ?
  14. Hi Can you please take a look at these 2 images and give me some advice. Thanks
  15. I have told them i want to speak with a member of staff, much more senior than the manager that i spoken to today.
  16. Hey I have now been told there is so system processing error, but what it is that there is only 1 department processing both Credit card and Loan ppi payments. They are doing a few days on loans then a few days on credit card payment. I also was told and will quote "It is not for you the customer to comment or question our internal operations" I will call the fos tomorrow and ask them. I have also sent an email to there ceo telling them i am not happy at both the service and also the attitude of the "Manager" who should be setting an better example on dealing with customers to her staff. Cheers John
  17. Hey On my farther Co-operative bank credit card, which has been closed with a £0 balance since 2006, I wrote to them on his behalf and filled in there form. They upheld the complaint and sent out the acceptance form. They are now advising all Credit card ppi refund payments have been placed on hold due to a "system processing error". They can not advice when this error will be fixed or when my farther can expect his refund. Any advice ?
  18. When i spoke with the fos they said lloyds should not be doing that as they have a 8 day postal backlog at the office so any letters they get will be sat there for 8 days waiting to be opended, What should i be doing about the stupid timewasting methods they are using ?
  19. Hey Alot has happened since i posted here on this matter, lloyds tsb declined my complaint so i went to the fos who have advised lloyds tsb would write to my directly as they decision is a refund plus interest minus the 2 successful claims which i have been told is the standard reply. After not hearing from lloyds tsb i telephoned there complaints team said there will be a letter sent within the next few days. I got a letter telling me they can not send the offer letter directly to me but they have sent it to the fos and i will have to wait for a copy from them, i find this just time wasting from lloyds ? any advice Thanks
