i need help anyone please i have recently applied to rent a property with an estate agent, the agent had done all the necessary checks and informed me that all the necessary checks had been done and i was eleglbli for the house, therefore they asked me to come in and pay the deposit for the property, went in and paid the deposit for the property, but will not sign the tenancy agreement till the following week when i will pay the 1st months rent, later in the week they called my work reference again and found out i do not work there anymore when they had already confimed my employment, but my employer later confimred that i do not work there anymore. so they contacted me and said that i cannot have the property anymore, so i asked if i could provide a guarantor but they refused. therefore i asked for my deposit back and they are refusing to give me back my deposit. help pls
