  1. Another threatogram today. It's the 6/7 th I've had offering a discount. The previous letters I sent last week seem to have been ignored..
  2. Another threatogram of a discount and an intended doorstep visit! :whoo:This one is quite interesting too as it states that they are acting on behalf of Lloyds and not the owners. They just cant make their minds up! All template letters (prove it etc) that I sent last week have been recieved by them also..let's see what happens next...
  3. Thanks Dx.Do we have any templates in the CAG library that I could send to the ICO/OFT?
  4. An update! First Cred have decided to ring me at work!! Naughty! Just fired off 4 recorded delivery letters to their lovely Reigate office: the prove it, written correspondance only, removal of telephone number/data(Section 10 Notice) and no doorstep visits. Have any other Caggers had 1st Cred phoning them at work? This is a first for me and apparently it was from a Mr Brown (of course it was....lol!). My understanding was that DCA's couldn't contact you in work?
  5. Thanks both...just curious I guess due to how old the account is and how they havent really done anything except use their many pet DCA's. This was originally passed on to Westcot in Dec/Jan 2010/2011!! Have had the standard discount letters too which often signal that there is usually something up.
  6. Just out of interest, does anyone think that Lloyds will have any enforceable documentation based on when the account was opened in 2000/2001?
  7. Cheers all. Just ignoring until something useful turns up. I will then hit them with the various templates and see what happens. Ive had about 3 discount letters since before Christmas which is always a sign of something being up. I think they know they've got a lemon on thier hands ...Lloyds have probably written off against tax years ago. The account was opened in 2000/01 so it would be interesting to see what docs would be available and if they would be up to scratch.
  8. Another threatogram..another 3 different ways to pay...this is getting boring!
  9. Another letter today. A whopping 30% discount if i pay within 24 hours...yeah right....im not falling for that one! On the same threatogram it also states that if this fantastic offer is not taken then a doorstep agent will be sent around....oh dear.....
  10. Intend- I had the same letter. Your next letter will also offer discounts by certain periods and then a further letter will ask the same except worded slightly differently. From my experience if reduced payment offer letters are sent then it usually indicates that they would have difficullty enforcing due to a number of reasons so use this tactic to get some sort of payment.
  11. Hi there A friend of mine has bought a mobile phone battery from a shop in the local market. Another battery was bought in the interim so that one was not needed. The battery in question was not taken out of its packaging and the receipt was kept. On trying to get a refund my friend was told that refunds were not given and to basically clear off.Where does she stand? Can they do this? All advice appreciated!
  12. Thank you both. Her area falls under Neath-Port Talbot so im guessing that would be that court although they also refer to Swansea. Will tell her to contact
  13. Update....the bailiffs are from Swift and have given her a Final Notice letter? No name of court on it whatsoever. Any previous correspondance must have gone to her previous address also. What next please?
  14. Thank you TT. My sister has moved addresses so any documentation could have been sent there. Letter from bailiff...im not sure has one but i will ask.
  15. Hi BB. Yes..baliffs...ID confirmed. No conversation with TVL inside her property. Ballifs stated full payment tomorrow or they will turn up with locksmiths!
  16. Hi all. Had a very upset sister ring me earlier. She stated that bailiffs had visited and demanded full payment of £465 for non payment of TV Licence and that if payment was not made tomorrow that they would break in and remove goods. Im assuming that this had gone to court at some point and been ordered by a judge. My sister cannot recall any letters sent to her with regards to a summons and a subsequent judgement etc. What would be the next steps please? Any advice very welcome!!
  17. Tell me about it! The other Caggers have mentioned that it's probably to help stave off their recent fine!!!
  18. The same has just happened to me. All quiet for 2 years then 1st Credit appear!
  19. After total silence since October 2011, and no payments made!, have had a lovely threatogram from 1st Credit. 2 letters the same day. .the first being the standard 'phishing' 'are you such and such' and if not contact us etc... and the other being that they have bought the debt from Lloyds and that I am apparently the person they want including all personal details such as alledged money owed etc! Bit naughty you think? So what next? No dealings with this lot before so what can I expect.. .the usual drivel?
