Hi 42man, thanks for responding so quickly. I'm not sure how I can prove that I wasn't at my old address. I have a tenancy agreement for my current address that marks the beginning of the tenancy well before the claim was issued. Will that suffice do you think?

I've just received a pack of mail from my old address. Amongst it was a County Court Claim and a County Court Judgement. It seems that I've had a County Court Judgement issued against me without my knowledge. Annoyingly it was issued at the beginning of October and I think that means that even if I pay it off, I can't stop it affecting my credit record. Can anyone offer any advice on this?
