I've requested a copy of my bill of sale and it was emailed to me 5 mins after my request! It seems it was registered 5 days after I signed it so all seems well there?
-
I printing the guide out as we speak as easier to read an highlight important points that way so cheers for the link. I thought about asking automoney for a copy of the bos but worried they will know why I want it and if it turns out all above board they will become even harder with collections procedure just to spite me?
-
Thanks for your reply and I will read that guide (I was already thinking of going down the ccta route so your confirmation of that being an avenue is a great help) regarding the bos I emailed the high Court and they said if I don't have the bos reference number it will cost me £50 for a search, my bos copy supplied at the time of loan doesn't have a reference number on it, any ideas?
-
Anyone at all able to offer some help with the above please? Many thanks

Hi all this could be a long story but will try the short route
January 2016 I take out a £1000 logbook loan with automoney! Silly I know but I wasn't really in control as I took it out during a manic episode of my Bipolar disorder.
Paid most months on Time but was 30% short last month and have paid 75% of this month's payment today.
They have harassed me day in day out week in week out by text and phone about it all.
Today I got a text just saying 'letter in post' which I imagine is a DN.
I can probably raise enough to catch up but they have annoyed me so much and have made my bipolar worse due to harassment so wanted to check a few things to see if I have anything to throw back at them.
I have emailed the high Court for details on how to check my bos is registered
but I have noticed my installments on credit agreement is different from that on bos.
Also when I took loan out I remember a long process going thru bank statements.
My question is that my money gets paid into my wife's acct as my mental health and finances don't mix
on the day they did the income and expenditure using a bank statement in my wife's name an also included her salary and tax credits.
Do I have something here or is that allowed?
Hope this All makes some sense and thanks I'm advance

No not ESA as I only receive DLA but wondered how people claiming ESA had got on with ATOS when suffering with Bi-Polar. As ATOS will be dealing with PIP in future

Any help? I need to pay by 4pm

I have a laptop and tv from brighthouse,
have had the laptop since April on a 2 year contract and its had problems since day 1
I have 2 weeks ago returned the laptop and said I no longer want it due to problems and affordability.
Was told by manager that on this occasion they would accept the laptop back early
(thanks even tho its worth £500 and I have paid over £300 already for a load of rubbish).
The only clause is that I have to continue to pay the £10 a week whilst it is being repaired
(unless it comes back and the repairer says its my fault then they want me to claim on my home insurance) yeah right!
My question is its been nearly 3 weeks now and no word from service centre
I have paid £30 so far (£10 a week for last 3 weeks) for it to sit in service centre
and tomorrow they are expecting next weeks payment,
should I still be paying for this even tho they are taking it back?
Thanks in advance
Any advice b4 I have to pay them later today?

Thanks for your info but I knew the rules around the transfer from DLA to PIP, I also know indefinite awards no longer exist.
My question is more towards the intervention of ATOS and anyone who suffers from mental illness experiences that they may have had.
-
Has anyone had any experience of ATOS whilst suffering Bi-Polar?
Am worried about the upcoming PIP as myDLA award ends in nov 2013 under DLA rules after my 5 year award and no change in my condition I would have qualified for an indefinite award.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone advise me what to expect from an insurance buildings assessor visit (company called JHS restoration, sent by LAS claims management)
I woke up at 2am on Tuesday for the toilet and heard water in the kitchen which was coming from the ceiling, I turned the water stop cock off and returned to bed to deal with in the morning.
I had a football sized hole in my ceiling water on top of my units and a little had got under my tiled floor, also water staining to the bathroom ceiling above the kitchen, my insurance excess is £500 so my wife initially said we should just get a builder in as it would be around the excess amount anyway. I removed the tiled flooring as some where cracked and moving and i was worried about my 3 children injuring there feet. I have kept all the tiles.
We asked a builder who was working for a neighbor to pop in and have a look at damage and give an estimate, he looked and said the water had ran down the back of the units wetting the wall and units themselves (his advice was to remove the 3 wall units as they could come lose and fall on one of the children) so i did (again I have kept the units) he also advised to call insurance as it is a bigger job than expected.
What am left with is a wet wall, hole in my ceiling, 3 bags of broken tiles and a bare kitchen floor and 3 removed wall units.
My question is will my claim be reduced or even rejected as I fixed the leak myself, have removed flooring and wall units even tho I have kept them and they are clearly water damaged.
Many thanks in advance

just wondering if any Brighthouse staff or ex staff can answer whether customers attempted to use Brighthouse Price Promise?
i attempted this, on behalf of a friend. current law says that if a retailer offers a price promise and the retailer sells their own brand products, then that price promise should apply to other traders equivalent goods
http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?371931-Brighthouse-Price-Promise
can anyone tell me whether customers applied for this price match and what happened after they applied?
I had them price match a range cooker priced at £999 with currys priced at £799 but i cancelled b4 delivery
-
You can not get the same cooker as brighthouse have a certain make that is not in any other shops so they win all round
Not true i ordered a range cooker priced at £999 and they price matched currys @ £799 cancelled b4 delivery tho cos have had enough of Brighthouse after taking them to court an winning a full refund for a rubbish computer
-
What would you do then? Take them to court or leave it and cut my losses?
-
Still assigned to welcome
-
I have had a letter from FSCS (financial service compensation scheme) asking if I want to claim my PPI back from welcome finance (around £500 inc interest).
The problem I have is they state that any payout would have to 1st be offset against any loan balances that maybe owed to welcome prior to a cash payment.
I have an issue with this as the balance I have with welcome (just over £2k) is in dispute and is only a year away from being statute barred
they have no cca, no paperwork and are not making any attempts to collect.
Am I within my rights to set up a court claim and get a cash payment or would it be frowned upon as I have already been asked by FSCS if I want to reclaim?
Many thanks in advance

Not wishing to be rude but how can one ill person be paid carers to look after the person who is being paid to look after them?
Surely if they are ill enough to require a carer themselves then they are not able to be a carer for someone else?
1 could be physically ill and need physical care and 1 can be mentally ill and need emotional support
-
I can't answer your income support question but you can both claim carers as both me and my wife receive it

Hi, I am currently receiving DLA at higher level care and lower mobility rate. It is due to be renewed in september this year. I am currently working 16 and am getting the severe disability elemnt of working tax credits. I have worked since the age of 16 and have always had some rate of DLA but was unaware I could get tax credits for disabilities and have only been claiming for the last year. Whislt my health hasnt seriously got much worse but at the same time it has got no better. This has been the first time for getting higher rate care and was wondering if you MUST get higher level or could I still get tax credits with either lower or middle rate care. I have over the years learnt that DLA awards depends on the person dealing with the claim and some will award and some wont for the same disabiliteies which I have always found strange. Can I continue getting working tax with any rate of DLA care or mobility and if no award if given can I still claim via the disability catergory without DLA but a doctors note stating that I have a disablity which puts me at a dissadvantage of getting employment. Thanks
If you get middle care you get disability eliment of WTC
If you get high care you get both disability and severe disability eliments, if you only have low care or no award then no disability eliment is paid.

Unfortunately the DWP don't really recognise CFS as a chronic condition (this was told to my mum at her tribunal)! as stated in the DWP Decision makers handbook A to Z of medical conditions 'Claimants should have severe levels of functional restriction and spend most of the day in bed and be immobile, They should also have clinically evident muscle wastage to be eligible'

Once the suspended possesion order is granted you just ask the judge if he would write on the order that provided all contractual monthly payments plus £50 are made there can be no application for sale from the claimant. I see no reason why the judge wouldn't do this as they are not keen on houses being reposessed. Good luck
-
I have a suspended possesion order, the one thing I asked the judge to write into the order was that 'no application for sale may be made providing the defendant make £xx payment per month' this at least secures your property.
