  1. hi dunno if anyone is still watching this, but the ltsb loan is still showing as settled on my credit file, but they are still sending letters etc, any ideas on what i can do about this? Thanks again!
  2. hi sorry i don't have the full storey etc, i do know it was over 10k from what i have been told. dunno if they had been given a payment plan, i do know he went to court for something... but dunno what? they have been given 7 days to get everything out of the house so at least they have that.....
  3. as far as i know they went into NW. they have had nothing in writing to say that the eviction would not go ahead. they have been able to get access today, and they are letting them take more stuff out the property. i think they been in arrears for quite a while, sorry i can't be anymore helpfull in giving more info on the history. what do u want to know? thanks
  4. they said it was his responsibility to ring the court to tell them to communicate with nationwide, and the baliffs. but he did not as he was not aware he had to.....
  5. Hi My fiances parents house has just been repossessed... They did pay some money to nationwide, who adv that the repo would not go ahead, however the court was not informed, so the repo went ahead while no one was at the property, so there whole life in the property is basically gone. wedding photos, childhood photos, etc etc. They have had a short visit to the property and were able to get just afew clothes etc in the 5 mins that they were allowed while the baliff was present. I can understand them not allowing her parents to take things like the tv etc, but what about things like photos that are of no real value to anyone else. clothes, stuff like that..... Can anyone please help, or give any advice on what they can do next. is it possible they would be able to some how get the propert back? or get possesions out of it? Thanks Chris
  6. hi just to let you all know if anyone reads this? that it looks as though lloyds have written off this debt!!! 8.5k whoop de whoop!!!! have checked my credit report with experian, and equifax, on both of the credit files the loan is showing as settled in 2007. and it has been like this for months!!! thanks guys..... 1 down... more to go...
  7. i didn't take out any ppi, but i dunno if it says anything about ppi on the agreement if that is what you mean? i will find the agreement and post it up on here for you guys to look at...
  8. i have not posted the egg agreement up yet. but as far as i can see it is enforcable.
  9. hi no, far from it at the mo.. And by the way, i think i have got away with a inteligent finacne overdraft (about £220) as its not showing on either credit file. Whoop Whoop!!! I have still got about 15k in credit cards to sort out. looks like i will have to pay for the egg card as they sent the original copy signed etc. but all of the rest have not so far produced the true signed agreement, so i sent off a few more letters yesterday, and am not paying them a penny at mo untill they produce one. A few of them have sent me copies of the terms and conditions etc. Halifax even sent me all the statements from the date the account was opened (and i didn't have to pay anything for it), but not the true signed copy of the agreement. So i guess now its just a waiting game......... Chris
  10. hi on my experian credit file below where it says about my loan it says: "settled accounts are kept on file for six years from the settlement date. The status history in respect of a settled account relates to the period of time prior to the date of settlement" any insight into this? I honestly couldn't believe it when i read the credit file. I had to read it back about 10 times before it sunk in! thanks
  11. hi thanks for the quick reply. I am totally over the moon with this. How do i get it removed though? If it is showing as settled on mt credit file, does that mean that they cannot hound me for it in the future if they find the original agreement. not that i think i signed one in the 1st place anyway. It doesn't say that the account has defaulted, but there are 3 missed payments on there. Thanks Chris
  12. Hi people I sent off CCA requests to all off my creditors in October 2008. I have had none off them bar Egg send a true copy of the original agreement. Anyway i have checked both my credit reports with equifax, and experian. Low and behold Lloyds Loan is showing that it was settled in 2007! In my letters to them i asked for all relevant data to be removed from the credit ref agencies, so that date sort of makes sense. YES!!! I think it has worked? Am i now £8,500 less in debt!!!??? It is showing as settled on both credit reports! Has anyone else had this happen to them? Thanks to all the help of the people on here!!! Am going to keep writing to all the other creditors, and hopefully i will have the same result... Chris
  13. i have sent a CCA request to all on my creditors now. Only 1 replied with the original true signed copy (egg), a letter from moorcroft re lloyds tsb loan saying that they didn't have the agreement for me yet, and the accound is on hold, a prompt default letter from capital one, and nothing yet from the other 3. I sent off another letter yesterday to follow up... I am cancelling all my payments to them now... i got nothing to lose so.... I had heard of these companis before asking for £495 + 295 there after, and guessed that they may just be doing this....
  14. Hi Does anyone know if CCAs can work with payday advances. Eg. you write a cheque that they give you money for, then when you get paid they take the cheque out your bank...?? thanks Chris
  15. thanks. i have cancelled the standing order... hopefully i can get them to write it off. I've changed a lil bit of the letter posted above what u think? This means you must remove all information regarding this account from your own internal records and from my records with any credit reference agencies. Thus meaning that the account will no longer exist, and will be written off. (or should i say discharged????) thanks
