  1. Well ... it's good news - Powerflush365 has come through, after a bit of a discussion an agreement was reached and now I have the invoice. In the immortal words of Shaky Bill : 'All's Well That Ends Well'
  2. Hello all, Wednesday 14th September 2016 On Wednesday 14th September 2016, I arranged for http://www.powerflush365.co.uk to carry out a power flush of my central heating system, (no heating just hot water), the work duly carried out, on completion of work, time to pay him for the service I requested an invoice for proof of work carried out. He said that he was going to email me the invoice and some sort of certificate for insurance purposes, I then gave him my email address, he wrote it his diary so I handed over the agreed sum and he left. After he left, I realised that I had given him the wrong email address, so I sent a text with the alternate email address and also sent an email message to info@powerflush365 explaining with the alternate email address. He has left me with my system is not working (no heating or hot water) as he explained to me that I had to purchase a new plate to plate heat exchanger as the power flush did not clear the metal particles inside it, he also promised to return and fit the new heat exchanger at a reasonable price, all I had to do is inform him when it arrives and arrange a day to fit it. Thursday 15th September 2016 So far I have no response from Powerflush, either from the text or email, I have not tried to phone him yes as he took my mobile number and keyed it into his mobile. 09:00 called Powerflush – went to voice-mail. My question is: Am I legally entitled to an invoice proof of work carried out and proof of payment?
  3. I am already in an IVA. I now want to manage it myself Regards Geoff
  4. Good Morning all, Can someone please help me? I can not find the section that gives help and advice etc on how to take on your creditors from an IVA. Can someone please post the link to that section -thanks in advance Regards Geoff
  5. Good Morning, Thanks for the advice, I will do that. I will stay with them as they are a good at fixing cars Regards Geoff
  6. Good Morning all, This might sound a bit strange. I put may freelander in to Volkscar in Dartford, Kent for a replacement fuel pump, that was ok, but a week later a fault light appeared on the dashboard, I informed Volkscar, they said to bring it in, this I did. The mechanic did a diagnostics, and cleard the fault, but noticed that the camshaft sensor needed replacing, in the ensuing discussion it was decided that I should bring it back a week later to have the sensor replaced. This I did, left my phone number so he could call me to let me know the price. The mechanic called back and said my car was ready and quoted £130. I went to the cashpoint and drew out the £130 in cash owing to the fact that whenI went to pay for the fuel pump, the owner gave me such a hard time for using my debit card and not cash. I arrived at Volkscar with my money to pay for the work, on production of the cash, which caused his eyes to light up, I told him that Sam had quoted me that amount. The owner then started getting stroppy with me over the fact that Sam had not quoted me a price with VAT, as sam never said £130 plus VAT. The owner then proceeded to soo me out of the office saying in a very forceful tone "Go 1 , take your car and GO! ", this I did, feeling very confused and guilty, but left anyway. Later on I realised that he did not give me an invoice for the work carried out, so I phoned him up saying that he did not give a invoice for the work, he promptly and in an iritating tone, "You refused to pay the VAT, when you pay the VAT I will issue one" I never at any time refused topay the VAT, as far as I was concerned it is included in the price, this was not even discussed when I was handing over my cash. My questions are: Can he do that and what can I do about it? If as he says I owe him VAT, why did he let me take the car away? I begin to suspect that my £130 has not been accounted for and some sort of VAT fiddle. Regards Geoff
  7. Not that I recall, but I might have included them in the masses of paperwork I sent to Blair Endersby
  8. Maybe I did not explain my self properly, Tesco had laid the charge against my house, it is in force. They did not tell me anything, no hearing date and other such things. So it would appear that I am stuffed, could loose a lot, even my house. Not at all happy about Tesco's tactics.
  9. Hello All, I was reading through the debt forums and discovered the letter templates, one in particular concerning the above. I am in an IVA with Blair Endersby. I have recently received, by post, a letter from the local county court stating that one of my creditors, (Tesco's), has attached a charge to my house with out telling me or discussing it with me. Can they do this? Regards Geoff.
  10. I have threatened them with going to another garage, but they say I will loose everything: the free service, all that goes with NAC, So I am well and truly stuck, with nowhere to turn. Doin' me flamin' 'ead in
  11. Yeah Anthem, they have had their three chances, but they still keep telling me to bring it in. I am at the end of my tether and have nowhere else to turn it seems, no one will help me without at least £300 in legal fees.
  12. After phoning Carcraft earlier today, customer services, they said they will contact servicing to get my car looked at by an independant mechanic. Lakeside has just phoned me, sorry not authorised to make that decision, so my car goes back to lakeside for however long for them to hold it back for a while and then say it's fixed until the engine starts shuddering again, and then back to square one, Lakeside again. When are these people goin' to admit that they can not fix it?
  13. Well... I collected my car on 26th Septemeber. Guess what? The Engine has started shuddering again after two weeks and the brkaepads are still scraping. I have spoken to them today stating that I am going to take it elsewhere to get a diagnostic test and pass it onto them. They say I can not do that at all, did not say why, but I think I will loose everything that goes with the vehicle, so I am stuck good and proper with a useless car that will not run proper. And I still can not find a legal firm with the bottle to take on car craft.
