    Debt

i recently got married and have managed to accumulate a 7k debt on my mbna card and 1.3k debt on a nationwide credit card. the interest rate on the card is 2.2% a month, and i have defaulted payment on each card once. do you think i have any chance of agreeing a settlement figure with the card companies?
  3. thanks i will try that next im getting married in 6 weeks and now the fridge isnt working im gona get white hair arggghh!!!!
  4. they say in their terms and conditions it says any problems need to be taken up with dlr i spent 2 hours today they wont budge. i argued that on my credit card sainsburys took the money gave me invoice and my contract is with them no joy.
  5. i spoke to sainsbury they say in their terms and conditions they say it is operated by DRL this is really frustrating, as if i wanted to buy from some joey company i would, i went to sainsburys in good faith and feel i have been ripped off
  6. Here is a difficult one, i bought a fridge/freezer 2 years ago on the 14 aug 2008. it has stopped working, and i ould like sainsburys to fix it under the sale of good act 1979 as i paid over £800 for it and it is reasonable to expect it to last for more than 2 years. however service was operated for sainsbury's by drl limited, i keep getting passed to either company to deal with this who shall i pursue this with? and is it reasonable to expect a 800 quid fridge frezzer to last more than 2 years? under the sale of good act. It was a whirlpool fridge freezer side by side

  10. its doesnt actually say where exactly just says golders green no left turn
  11. also they were not familiar with the area so was unaware if there were any other suitable places for turning
  12. dear all need some advice i got a pcn for no left turn i wasnt even driving my dad was, however he took the turn as my disabled brother was not feeling well and had to tend to him. there was a lot of traffic ahead hence the turn. do you think it is worth appealing or better if i just pay it?

  14. SCAN0008.jpg picture by kamk21 - Photobucket try this
  15. please see attached scan of the ticket
  16. my dad got a ticket for parking in for 1 minute, in a loading/unloading in a restricted street where waiting restrictions apply. The pcn was not put on my car, but it says on the ticket that the warden had begun to prepare a pcn for service by fixing it to a vehicle or by giving it to the person appearing to them to be in charge of vehicle, but vehicle concerned was driven away from place, should he just pay it or appeal? any advice
  17. the car class you will be able to change and they will give you a refund on the remaining tax and issue you a replacement one "disabled class" they will only refund full months.
  18. hi all my everso helpful father decided to write to them whilst i was on holiday explaining about the badge, the declined the appeal. what should i do now
  19. i thought as much, so i just ignore them
  20. How long do these tickets take to come through in the post? I recieved my first ticket yesterday for parking in a disabled bay, however my disabled brother was in the car. the badge may have not been on display, but when the parking attendent came to issue my brother showed him the badge, but this attendent still decided to issue the stupid ticket. my brother said he took a picture of the ticket on the car. the ticket does not even state where the car was parked (it was a retail park) nor does it have a warden number. where do i stand on this ticket.
