Thanks for your support i will dig out my agreement and let you know

the last time i went to pay, they had me in tears. saying if my payment is a day late they are coming to get my car from me and that the car won't pay off any of my finance. They said cos im in arrears my apr is really high and every payment im making now isnt paying much of my balance just interest. bunch of muppets

I took up car finance 2 1/2 years ago.. been paying it fine.. took approx 900 pounds worth of payment holidays. They stated to me last month if this months payment is even a day late.. they will be taking my car.. and that wont go towards paying off any of my balance? Surely i would of thought the car goes to auction.. and whatever it goes for would go off my balance and i pay the difference that's left? any advice would be greatly appreciated as i have a trip to pay them on Friday and would be nice to know my standing on this.

apparently the money is going to frederickson internatonal. the bank dont have a copy of the mandate

I just rang the bank, they have refunded the payment that went today, but they arent refunding the 22 previous payments of 5.50 even though i stated i never set this up!

Ok so this is my second post for advice concerning B.Carter Solicitors. They hold one of my debts.. i haven't paid them in years.. or so i thought. bank statement came this morning.. i dont normally take much notice of them as i know the only thing coming out is my car insurance and t.v licence. so i just file it. I looked and it apprears these guys have been debiting my account of £5.50 for over a year anything i can do about it as i never set up a direct debt / s.o with them at all. none of my debts came out of my bank i always just paid at the p.o with the little slip

oh right. thanks for your replies. i thought it was a bit weird saying from a credit reference agency. some of my debt i took out around 4-5 years ago and stopped paying between 18 months-2 years.

hello thanks the letter doesn't state what the debt is for. i owe loans, catalogues and credit cards. It just states they found me via a credit reference agency.. and working on behalf of their client. but it doesnt state who it is or the amount i owe just to ring them. they included a return envelope with a p.o box address:???:

Hello I received a post card from this company saying they have reason to believe i live at this address and if i do please contact them immediately. and if they have the wrong address to ring and let them know. I threw this in the bin.. i saw it as them fishing. Now received another letter saying they know for a fact i live there, because they got my details from a credit reference agency. none of my current lenders have this address.. and i have never applied for credit here. Any ideas how to deal with this now? thanks
