  1. Get the reclaim form from Citi's web site and fill it it in quoting the original account numbers, Have a look at Dx's links. You do not need to work it out, just think about when you took out the loans and your situation at the time and ask for any PPI to be refunded. How did they sell it to you? Was PPI added? You obviously had problems but did not claim on the PPI. The debt has been paid off as it was 'sold on' so claim PPI from the original lender Tell BCW to go and do one as this is SB!
  2. Hi Tony - glad you are all OK, love to you all! So pleased we could help you xx
  3. The applications go to the original creditor - for Citi, the form is on the Citi web site. Makes no difference if it was 'sold on' - Citi misold the PPI
  4. Your Citi loans were extensions after extensions - as I remember. PPI depends on you situation at the time of the loans , was it a temp job, agency work or did they even ask you your situation at the time and explain what PPI was? I my case, I did not even release there was PPi on it until HFO kindly sent me the statements
  5. Yes, yes - PPI claims - currently doing mine for me, Mr Dog and the young Pup. All SB, PPI totally mis-sold and debts sold on to vultures
  6. No - that is the 'know nothing about this' letter - the SB letter is this one http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/content.php?408-Letter-sent-when-debt-is-statute-barred
  7. That is why I am suggesting caution as the full claim could be re-assessed. We really need to know on which descriptors points were awarded and then show worsening of these. Fairywings needs to request a written confirmation of the decision before submitting any further evidence. This process is only business, there is nothing personal only facts - it is a game of poker and we keep the cards close to our chests - trust me
  8. I would - if they they come back with £1 paid you can challenge this. Think they are clutching at straws anyway and HFO are trying to retrieve the last pennies! Whatever happens you have help
  9. Agree - this is what we need to get but need some details of the the decision they have made so as to argue the extend of the deterioration.
  10. If that is the only payment in 6 years - yes, that was NOT a payment against the debt
  11. No idea - Newcastle upon Tyne, completely run by muppets who have threatened me for a year now which is why I have paid so much off council tax to the detriment of other priorities. I now know that CAB have a 'hotline' to Equita, worth knowing. I am not a great fan of CAB but in this case worth contacting
  12. Two weeks ago I received a letter from Equita threatening bailiffs for outstanding Council Tax. I was certain that most of my CT for last year had been paid and any remaining would be covered by benefit for Feb/March 2013. However they wanted £107. I phoned the local authority - totally unhelpful and I then went into meltdown in the Customer Services Centre. The receptionist there said she could not help but told me to contact CAB, which I did. I had an anxious wait to see CAB but have had a letter today saying that the council have now withdrawn this from Equita as it was 'a mistake'. No apology, no flowers...
  13. Can you contact DWP and ask for a copy of the tribunal decision? Were you notified of a tribunal hearing at all? Why did you not attend? Ask for details of this. I would not recommend appealing a tribunal decision, this can take a while and is rarely overturned - it is far better to notify a deterioration in health to DWP since the original ATOS assessment and argue the reasons for being in the support group. You can be in the WRAG group for a year after first claiming on benefit if this is NI contribution based (then you need to be in the support group). It is longer if income based, depending on your circumstances, but the support group is a slightly higher rate and you should receive less hassle. Being on DLA is different as many people on DLA can work, it is proving for ESA that being in work is not possible and would be detrimental to your health and well being
  14. Well - some people are very vulnerable and will be threatened by the likes of BCW and co. if they can get £20 from you it is a profit!
  15. Well done you! I have a Logistics card and the ****e they sent me when I rang up, may frame them!
  16. Hi Fairywing54 Do not try to appeal the tribunal decision, not worth it. You need a new application to DWP to state that you have deteriorated medically since the assessment either using the ESA descriptors or Section 32 which I will explain later. This will be supported by medical evidence. Can you please let me know the exact wording of your tribunal judgement and which categories you were allocated points for. It is possible to be allocated to the support group, believe me. Think I can advise if I have a bit more info. If you do get called for a WAG interview at the JobCentre and explain your problems to the adviser as they can be very helpful in supporting your case (they may not know this but they can) Take a friend if you can CD
  17. Yes - trying to soak up the dregs. I doubt that they have a leg to stand on with the recon so are just trying to end this?
  18. No - you requested a copy of a true agreement. Recons are not that, and what you have received is not actually a 'recon'. Are you able to scan it with personal details removed?
  19. I would call Barclaycard and try and find out about this - including what the balance was when the account was sold. HFO should have been sending you statements. Have you kept any of the original correspondence from HFO? They probably added a shed load of 'interest' to the original amount. I would advise a strongly worded letter to TR demanding full details of all payments made to their 'client'
  20. Agree with above. Certainly stop all payment Have you checked your credit files as suggested to see if it shows up on there? Worth a call to Barclaycard to ask them exactly when last payment was made and also ask exactly who they sold this to and when - Barclaycard recoveries 0844 556 0066
