  3. Does anyone have the contact details for SP. I have just had a door colloctor turn up for full payment. Even though we have an arrangment to pay off our arrears. I just spoke to customer services someone called Karen, her ID number is 2009. She said a manager or supervisor wouldn't take my call. Please help

  5. You can cancel it by phoneing them, that's how i did it. But this 30 days free is just a con, as alot of people have used it to check there credit file and then had letters etc from DC's looking for payments.

  8. First of all i have the same problem with Egg and i have been dealing with a director and received a letter in the post today and in the letter is an amount that Egg are willing to pay me back. Which includes unpaid direct debit fees, Card protection Plan (CPP) and Card Repayment Protection (CRP). Egg have basically agreed to pay these charges back in full. The people I am dealing with and i would recomend everyone else to deal with are as follows. Kathy Curzon 08007 834 393 ext 6157 Wendy Schratz - wendy.schratz@citi.com ; wendy.schratz@egg.com Dont let them fob you off, I even had to file this in county court which cost me £25.00, I then emailed Wendy and told her that i had registered it with the court and hope that Egg pay in full as if it ends up at court it would only incure more money for Egg to pay out.

  10. Hi Scatz1972 If First National is a bank which i think it is, then i'd send them a letter requesting statment going back 6 years which there need to supply you and can charge no more than £10. Then what you need to do then is work out the charges and claim them back i will message later with the letter you should send to the bank and will pm you a link so you can work out the amounts to claim when you get the statments etc. Good Luck
  11. The shop can legally refuse to sell an item at a marked price if it's the wrong price. The shop need to make the change straight away or even have to remove i from sale for 24 hours. However i would still mention it to the head office and Trading Standards but i don't know what good it would do.
  12. Hi Looopyloo, Yeah it's ok to send them a CCA request in your maiden name. Just another thought for you in two months the debt is 6 years old, and if you haven't made any payment in the 6 years and not spoken to the company that allege you owe this debt then the debt is statute barred. Let us know how things go.

Good luck mate and remember to send your letter by recorded mail so that you can proove that the bank received it etc. And when NatWest lift the block on charges we will be in the que to get paid out first. I am currently in the process of claiming charges on 3 Natwest accounts for myself. Got 6 years worth of statment through today in post for one account and NatWest owe me just over £250 on one account only lol so i cant wait to get the other statments and work the charges out there. And if you get no luck with NatWest then I'd take this matter to County Court which you can aslo do online now.

  16. I'm also having dealings with CapQuest and Mrs Lisa Slater lol. One is also with Capital One which is my OH's. CapQuest claim to have bought the debt and i'm still awaiting proof of this by a letter of authority from the original debt, and still waiting on the CCA's to be sent to me. The time is up on the 23rd of this month. Then i will then send them a nice letter telling them that the time for them to supply the CCA's etc has expired and any further action will not be axcepted and will result me taking this matter to County Court and also reporting them to the FOS yet again as well as TS
  17. Well done Emma for sticking it out. Are you intending on staying with VM then ? I am still waiting for the letter to be sent out to me from the director and the statments so i can calculate the amount that VM owe me. I will update as and when i get more information.
  18. Hi Martin, Sounds like VM will leave this to the last minute and possibley make payment at the 11th hour. Just stick to your guns and i'm looking forward to your update. Emma, Hi any update from you yet ? Oh and did anyone see the advert in the press today about VM ? There are now offering free tv package ( Medium ) to new customers that take a telephone line with them. I have also managed to get a VM member of staff sacked this week because of his language in a post he left on a facebook group where people have a rant and rave about VM. Silly boy

  20. Maddiemay you would be better to send a CCA with the £1 fee to the collection agency. And send a SAR request to the original company. Without a true signed copy of a credit agreement the debt is unenforceable. That means the collection company can't collect and will have to pass it back to the original company. The SAR request is basically everything the company hold on there systems about yourself. Statments etc.
  21. Scatz1972 just to make you aware incase you didn't already know but Aktiv kapital are also known as Thames Credit. You should telephone them on Monday and i urge you to deal with Jayne Maberley who is a corrispondance manager for head office and she can be contacted on 0800 015 5505 extention 133. She is currently dealing with an account for me and is very helpful indeed
  22. The £1 fee is for when you request a CCA ( Consumer Credit Agreement ) The £10 fee is for when you request a SAR ( Subjuct Access Request )
