Hi After another 4 years they are still after this. I cannot remember the account. As always any help appreciated. Basically it states - Got a letter today from gpb solicitors who have taken by way of assignment the debt due above. Basically the letter says that notice of assignment has been given and that the debt remains outstanding. It says that I need to contact them within 14 days. -
Hi I have been paying 50 per month for the 6 years or so. It is very inportant that you get what you owe them in writing. It is very difficult as I am currently paying and dont what it is for also. All the best.

I was told that I was overpayed tax credits in 2007 and have been making 50.00 per month payments since then. I recieved a letter last week saying thatthey want to increase this and to contact them. I did and we agreed to increase it to 60.00. I have one letter saying that I owe them 5000.00 and another letter saying that I owe them 2000.00. I really don't know where they are getting there figures from. I don't know how I was overpayed because everytime I called them to ask I was put through to someone completly different. Are there any templates on here that I can use to request information?

Hi IMS21 No I havent any paperwork. When I spoke to them yesterday they told me that I took a £5000.00 loan in 2002 and was charged 700+ in ppi. I then took out a top up loan in 2003 of £20000.00 and was charged again. Is there anything I can do to get the paperwork? Thanks once again for the reply. TOSH1

I have British Gas Homecare 400. On Thursday our light in the bathroom stopped working and I went online and booked an appointment for the same day. My wife took a day off work and at 4pm she had a phone call to say that they could not make it because they don't class this as an emergency. I complained and they knocked off £5.00 of the direct debit for 2 months and arranged the appointment for today. My wife then took today off and they rang today and advised that an engineer vould come as the engineer had rang in sick. They have re-arranged again for Wednesday, Is there anything I can do? Are there any templates that I can use?

Thanks. I made my first payment yesterday and then emailed them asking if they have recieved it and then emailed them again today. I will keep making the payments and am overjoyed that it's all over. Thanks once again. -

Just have update on this for everyone. First of all, Thanks to Slick, Caro and CitizenB for your help. I really appreiate it. HC were going for a Summary Judgement at court. I am pleased to say that they have excepted an offer I made for the amount outstanding without the need to go to court. I offered them a lower amount with monthly installments and they excepted. This means that there is no need for me to go to court. If anyone needs any information about my case which may help thiers then let me know and I will try and help, however the best people to speak to are Slick, Caro and CitizenB. Regards TOSH1 -
