  1. Hi Sorry to hear that you have had a experience with your roofer. I've been in the roofing business all my life, and no way would we ask 80% and the work is still not finished. It's usually a part payment up front, that's just to cover the costs for scaffolding and materials, the remaining balance on completion. If you have paid 80% no way should you have water coming into your property. Your property should of been watertight at that stage. You stated that you was having a re-roof carried out and the only work that needed to be done was the facia and guttering. If you was having a complete re-roof, The facias and guttering is the first thing to be done. My advice is to write him as letter give him a time that you would want the remaining work to completed. If he don't come back to you then you may have to go down the road and take legal action. You can also spread the word on Facebook about this company.
  2. Hi Bankfodder I Managed to get a part for it which was £30, and fixed the cooker. I have sent Curry's a letter stating the costs, but cant see them getting back to me. Once again thankyou for all your help in this matter. Gazza

Contacted Curry's and was told in a polite way to go away, as the Guarantee had run out by 2 weeks.

Is there a template letter i could use, as I'm sure there is an extension from the manufacturers when it comes out from the factory.

Hi Gazza, if you check out a few of the Curry's threads, you are not the only one to be given the heave ho.  There are plenty of examples of how you should make your next move.

  7. Hi I brought an Electric Cooker from Curry's just over a year ago, Delivered 3rd February 2020. Contacted Curry's and was told in no polite way to go away, as it was out of the one years Guarantee. Is there anything i can write to them, as this was just two weeks out from the Curry's Guarantee. 8. Hi Citizen Thanks for looking at this thread, yes my fault for carrying it on as this was one of the easier ones to deal with at the time. The amount there asking for is £4,200.00, I was just thinking should I start the process again and ask for my original CCA and send them £1 Gaz
  9. Hi dx Thanks for looking at the thread, yes I should off not paid them as this was one of the easiest ones to sort out at the time. But was advised not from this site that they could get the whole lot scrubbed at the time so let them carry on. On hind site should of carried on doing what I did with the other cards. Gaz
  10. Hi All Here's a copy of the letter Moorcroft sent me, I had there first phone call yesterday but didn't speak to them. Just wondering should I start the who process again and ask them for a true copy of the agreement. Gaz

  12. Hi All I've not been on here for a while, as its been all quiet on the Western front until now lol. As you all know since 2008 I've been dealing with Natwest, I've been paying a £1 token payment every month until November 2016 when they stopped sending a banking slip, they've now put this account forward to Moorcroft to redeem monies from me. I do need a letter to send to Moorcroft to get them of my back. As soon as I get my scanner working i'll post the letter on here. Gaz
